Mark has been a fan of all forms of electronic music since he was a teenager. He discovered Psytrance in 2005 and while he was travelling the world in his cruising career he made a point of keeping up with the latest developments in the psy world. 

When he returned to the UK in 2020 he was determined to make his dreams of dominating the country’s dance floors come to life. Known for his slick mixing and intuitive track selections, he keeps the dance floor grooving to a variety of styles including psytechno, progressive and funky full on Psytrance.

He has been dabbling in music production over the last few years, is a resident DJ for Psychonauts in Birmingham, runs a successful club night in Glasgow called Psychedelic Odyssey, and is launching the London edition in February 2024.

Christian Hinz grew up in a home with classical music and has been playing the piano for many years. He found interest in sound & music from an early age and quickly fell in love with jazz, disco, break beat and industrial.

 In 1988, his big brother invited him to visit the local youth club although he was not old enough. At the club they had a disco with a DJ booth, dancefloor & light effects. He thought it was very cool and asked if he might be allowed to play .. and they said yes. 

He was allowed  into the club and began playing frequently after 3 months. He borrowed spare turntables & a mixer for a year and used all the money he had from time to time in the record shops. He then practiced on his decks at home during daytime after school and played  in the weekend at the club.

In 1990, he participated, for the first time, in a local DJ competition. He won the competition and went on to the regional championships, where he got a 2nd place finish out of 50. During the period 1991-1993, he won both the local, regional and in 1994 the national championship and already in the early 90' he knew that electronic music was the right way for him to go. 

By winning championships in the early years (1990-1994), he has through the last 30+ years  been playing a lot of gigs and arranged many electronic events both national and abroad. He also had weekly broadcasts with electronic music and interviews at regional radio stations in the 90' & various guest mixes in the 00'

For many years (1994-2008) he only played Progressive and Psytrance & Goa and played by the name DJ TP. Today, he plays many different styles of electronic music and he will always deliver a solid experience in technical terms, with tracks to rock the dancefloors boht inland & abroad.

Traumtänzer – Progressive Klangwelten mit Leidenschaft und Vision

Seit über zwei Jahrzehnten prägt Traumtänzer die elektronische Musikszene mit einem einzigartigen Sound, der tief in der Clubkultur verwurzelt ist. Seine musikalische Reise begann 1999 in einem kleinen Kellerstudio – mit zwei Plattenspielern, einem 2-Kanal-Mixer und einer grenzenlosen Begeisterung für Drum and Bass und BreakBeats. Zunächst als MC aktiv, zog es ihn schnell hinter die Decks.

Ab 2001 – damals unter dem Namen Darkintalex aka Cool Irie – etablierte er sich als DJ in der Szene und entwickelte über die Jahre eine unverkennbare Klangsprache. 2008 verlagerte sich sein Fokus zunehmend auf das Produzieren eigener Tracks. Heute steht Traumtänzer für progressive, tiefgehende Sounds, die emotionale Intensität mit musikalischer Präzision verbinden. Als Mitglied des renommierten Labels Upward Records ist er Teil eines kreativen Netzwerks, das innovative elektronische Musik fördert und weiterentwickelt.

Traumtänzer ist mittlerweile über die Grenzen Deutschlands hinaus bekannt und hat seine Musik auf internationalen Open-Air-Veranstaltungen und Festivals präsentiert. Mit Auftritten in Ländern wie der Schweiz, Thailand, Kroatien und Spanien hat er seine Reichweite kontinuierlich erweitert und begeistert ein globales Publikum mit seinem einzigartigen Sound.

Doch Traumtänzer ist mehr als ein Künstler – er ist auch der CEO und Founder von Waldgeister Events, einer Plattform, die mit innovativen und einzigartigen Eventkonzepten den musikalischen Austausch fördert und die elektronische Musikszene bereichert.

Als treibende Kraft der Lübecker Clubkultur setzt er sich aktiv für die Förderung lokaler Projekte und unabhängiger Musikräume ein. Sein künstlerisches Schaffen versteht er als gemeinnützigen Beitrag zur lebendigen und vielfältigen Szene.

Seine Performances, ob als DJ oder Live-Act, sind geprägt von klarem Sounddesign, energetischen Arrangements und einer tiefen Verbindung zum Publikum. Ob in intimen Clubsettings oder auf großen Bühnen – seine Musik transportiert Emotionen und schafft Erlebnisse, die über den Moment hinauswirken.
