Danni( Bigroom) comes from Akureyri, the Capital of N-Iceland. His name is Daníel Gunnarsson, but he used the stage name BigRoom for well over two decades.

His love affair with music started @ early age and in his teens Vinyl became one of his true Passion. During his teenage years he was searching & digging around various styles of DanceMusic, through his electronic adventure around TripHop/BigBeat to Drum'n'Bass & DeepHouse to Techno his ears took a few years of molding & finding out his own true style & landed with a BANG! in the ProgressiveHouse department, this was before the Millennium.

Ever since then, he has been known for his Consistent Build Up & Big Tunes. He moved to Reykjavík / the city that rarely sleeps & started a job @ Þruman, the only record shop specialized in dancemusic, ran by our master of music from the Capital Reykjavík, Sean Danke. This gave him the opportunity to dig even deeper into the latest releases & always having the freshest Vinyl around ... back in the days, aaaaaah! His tone of ear is known for a proper Club-Banger & his Passion is for the Music he spreads.  

Over the years, Danni has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry that have played in Iceland such as Nick Warren, Sander Kleinenberg, Dubfire, Dave Clark, Max Graham and Chris Lake to name a few. So BigRoom has been in all the areas that Iceland has to offer in the scene - raves, clubs, venues and radio shows. 

Danni is still going strong & spends a lot of his time & devotion on the hunt for more tunes to qualify his mature ear of tone. He recently relocated back home to Akureyri where his  hopes are to have the chance to do his thing there as well as other places in the World where lovers of clubby, funky, progressive dance music come together & DANCE because the Tunes simply make them!
