DJ UHV: A Journey Through Hypnotic Soundscapes

Daniel Hitz, known to the electronic music world as DJ UHV, cultivates his passion for music from a young age in Schlieren, Switzerland. His early exposure to the arts came through his involvement with the "Schlieremer Chinder," a local children's group, where he first connected with the power of sound.
As a teenager, Daniel gravitated towards the burgeoning DJ scene, teaching himself to mix tracks using house records and turntables. He was profoundly influenced by the techno and trance movements of the 1990s, a period that shaped his understanding of electronic music's potential. This era instilled in him a distinct flair for driving, hypnotizing beats complemented by spherical, melancholic melodies.
Beyond the turntables, Daniel's dedication to electronic music runs deep. He's not only a highly regarded DJ, but also a successful club owner and a talented producer. More recently, DJ UHV has returned to his techno roots under the pseudonym Dany Heat, exploring the raw energy and driving rhythms that first captivated him. DJ UHV's sets are a testament to his foundational influences, transporting listeners through intricate soundscapes that are both energetic and introspective, reflecting his multifaceted involvement in the electronic music scene.

Techno artist from Göttingen, now based in Hamburg, Germany.

At an early age, Hammerschmidt began to explore different types of music and instruments and started to make music on his own at the age of 10 already. He then fell in love with electronic music when he was 13 years old.
At the age of 15, Eric took his first steps in producing and as a DJ.
After a long journey, he found his passion in dark and impulsive techno music. With his unique style, he has surprised many clubs, parties and dancers all over Germany while developing his signature sound further and further.

Mein Name ist Robert und das hier ist meine kleine "Spielwiese".
DJ bin ich seit 2018, der elektronischen Musik wohne ich aber schon länger bei. Hauptsächlich bin ich für Psytrance / Goa / Forest zu haben, aber das ist alles sehr stimmungsabhängig bei mir.

I am a Psytrance, Progressive Trance and Techno/Psytech Dj with many years experience, cutting my teeth on the dance floors of the underground Psytrance scene in London.  I'm now based in Bristol and a resident of Trancemission on Slice Audio, a weekly radio show broadcasting every Wednesday from 8pm.  Vinyl records, of which I have a large collection of 90's psy and tech trance, are a passion of mine which I play on Trancemission.
