I'm speechless with this mix!!!  Except maybe, it comes with a warning!!! For people who are prone to highly emotional states (like me! 😹) might be best to have a box of tissues handy! Lol
I'm not really one for saying good things about my own mix's, it tends to make me feel like I've somehow got my head stuck up my own ass!!! 😂  But on this occasion, I'm going to say, it's damn near purrfect, and the track selection is fucking awesome! (I Think!?!)

Hi, I'm Jake a 56 year old music addict and drug fiend who is finally starting to see the error of his ways!!! (too late now and no room for regrets!) And by Error of my ways, I mean I can see how I've ruined the taking of certain drugs by abusing them! So now they no longer work properly!  I'm 40 years in now! and I am going to see it through till the end! A true Taurus person, Stubborn as Fuck!
For people who have never taken drugs, I suggest you start NOW! It's a Spiritual thing, You have to Expand your mind to accommodate the knowledge that will set you free! If you are good at meditating, then that will do as good, if not better, I'm shit at meditating! So it's drugs for me!  It's all about truth, and don't be fooled into thinking you can learn this by reading it in a book or listening to someone speaking about it, YOU CAN'T,  It must come from within your self,  A Realisation, Only then will You know the Truth! 
I got into Punk around 1982 and not long after discovered Hardcore Punk, around 1993 I finally allowed myself to get into Rave and then got into mixing.
I got into Oldskool Hardcore and Jungle when I turned 50! better late than never I suppose. haha

House, Techno and Trance DJ since 1998. I Started mixing trance in 1998 at 16 years old after going up my local legendary club The Fort. Once teaching myself to mix my mate and I started doing a few parties at a friends house through 1999, which got more and more popular. 
I then Got sucked into the hard house scene in 2000 and started playing at parties and clubs all over the Isle of Wight, as well as putting on loads of beach and forest parties with my friend and fellow DJ ADY K. 

As well as mixing trance and hard house I mixed Happy Hardcore when it made a comeback in 2002-2005 as well as Hard trance and hardstyle. My highlight was playing in the new talent room at Hardcore Heaven at The Sanctuary Milton Kyenes. 

I started to mix PSY/GOA Trance in 2006 and then stopped mixing vinyl and moved to CDJs as Psy was mainly made on CD format at this time. We hosted some awesome parties playing Psytrance until 2011. Then moved to Breaks and house from 2012 onwards and played at occasional parties which got fewer and farer between as the years went on.

When Covid hit in 2020 and when the first Lockdown came in March 2020, I decided to dust off my old CDJs and download some new music and record a few sets. I forgot how much I enjoyed mixing. I started playing tech house and techno, but in the autumn of 2020 I decided to buy some turntables again and dig out some of my old vinyl, and start mixing on wax again. 

Now I like to mix progressive, deep and organic house with melodic techno with added hints of trance which I will always love. But generally my sound is deeper these days! As well as this I'm also loving mixing 90s trance and techno on vinyl and enjoy the extra challenges it brings. Its not as clean and precise as the modern digital way, but it takes me right back to those golden days :-)

As a phonic pilgrim, for Malcolm, it is about the musical journey: he is the electronic conduit between the music and the auditor, and his odyssey into the underground becomes your own. Malcolm brings an itinerary of experience to the decks, having played supports to such underground characters as Hernan Cattaneo, John 00 Fleming, Jody Wisternoff, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Sasha,  and more to his DJ journal. Malcolm brings a motley of polished sounds to the table, combining the best of  undulating basslines and elaborate layers.
 
Unearthing an abandoned belt driven turntable in his early teens compounded Malcolm's indoctrination with 7” vinyls for dance floor music, but it was being exposed to the Underground of the world where the tactility for mixing changed from a mere buzz to a honed focal point. The appreciation for music from their textures to hooklines and basslines became a seizure of sounds and energy. An exposition into radio fine-tuned the technicals of Malcolm's craft, where a comprehensive knowledge of all things electronic established a secure foundation in technology, while adding personality and a persona to the sounds.
 And while this capacity for industrial sounds continued, it was a genuine enchantment with the music that kept Malcolm behind the decks.
 A valid feeling for music sees Malcolm traverse the path of the audio craftsman, where a campaign in trance and nu NRG in the late 90s and 2000s gave way to a junket through house, progressive house, deep house and techno. Textures, layers and meters have determined Malcolm's signature sets, where music is an escape and the dancefloor a new destination.
 
As an electronic executive of many floors  , Malcolm's sounds have played across many major festivals, club and underground events since the turn of the century. His foray into Brisbane 's premium underground parties with Elements Festival, Lemon & Lime, Nu Breed, Subtrakt, Buxton Records, Trance Classics and Ulterior remain a testament to his ventures and credibility into the ground breaking avant-garde sounds of today.

I'm a psytrance producer and DJ from Cambridge, UK, inspired by artists such as Symbolic, Outsiders, Inner State and E-clip. 

I developed my musical abilities as a keyboard player and lead guitarist before switching to psytrance production, which is my passion. Expect rolling basslines, psychedelic sounds and blistering riffs.

I run two monthly club nights where I live in Cambridge, UK: Transmission, where we play progressive house, melodic techno and psytrance; and God Dropped Acid, where we play all sorts of psychedelic dance music, from psychill, psydub and psytech to progressive, full-on, forest, dark and high-tech psytrance. 

I have a monthly radio show on DMT FM called God Dropped DMT, where I play my favourite progressive and full-on psytrance tracks. 

I've released my own psytrance productions on the Sol Music and Geomagnetic psytrance labels.
