Originally from London, England, I am of Dutch and Iranian origin. I began photographing in the UK underground electronic music scene in the 90’s. Music was always a major part of my life, I had the opportunity to see many artists at the events and festivals that I photographed for. In 2004 I relocated permanently to Montreal where I discovered the vibrant music scene which eventually lead me to photograph many music events, festivals and several well known Montreal DJ’s in the city. In 2015 I joined Montreal underground electronic music web radio show ‘Rhythm is Rhythm’ as lead creative. The transition from being being behind a camera to being behind the decks almost seemed inevitable and which felt surprisingly natural and it became a real passion. Aiming for precision in mixing is key for me, but building a musical journey is where I really like to get creative, I feel my mixes are like a train gaining speed, are you on the train with me all the way or will you join in along at some point, the choice is yours.
