Bio:-

@ariel-thea was born on April 12, 1994, in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. 🇦🇷 Growing up in a home where music filled the air, his parents’ passion for electronic sounds sparked a lifelong curiosity that later evolved into a deep artistic pursuit. 🧩 At 23, Ariel took his first steps as a DJ, driven by the desire to craft emotions through rhythm and texture. 🎲

He honed his craft at the renowned Arjaus Music Academy, completing his studies in 2020, and soon began to carve out his own sonic identity ═ one defined by groovy, dark layers, immersive melodies, and a subtle brightness that gives his tracks a hypnotic, storytelling feel. 🌀 

As a Progressive House producer, Ariel’s music bridges deep atmosphere and melodic intensity, reflecting both introspection and energy. His productions include “The Arrival” on Liberosis Records (2025) and his collaborative remix of “End” by Exequiel Gomez alongside Yvin Sinna for Ambari Records. ᯓ 🎚️ 

With each release, Ariel continues to refine his unique sound ═ one that connects emotion, groove, and narrative into a seamless flow. 🔊 Currently signed to Liberosis Records and Ambari Records, he’s steadily building a presence in the global underground scene, where his sound continues to resonate with those who seek depth and movement on the dance floor. ⏯️💃

Underground Colombo (UC) was envisioned by Kushan Dissanayake, and his co-founder, Kasun Dissanayake, who is known as Kais D. This dynamic duo, driven by their shared passion for underground music, embarked on this journey together in 2016.

Inspired by the vibrant energy of Sri Lanka's music scene, they had a vision—to cultivate a close-knit community that immersed itself in the rhythms they cherished. Alongside them was their best friend, Buddika Wijebandara, forming an unbreakable trio.

Their first step was the establishment of a Facebook community, a digital haven for kindred spirits, which rapidly flourished and now boasts a dedicated following of 15,000 strong. But that was only the beginning.

Determined to take their passion to the next level, they decided to launch their own SoundCloud page. This expansion was made possible with the unwavering support of Azmara Veera, a pivotal figure in UC's journey. She, along with the team, contributed creative forces that allowed UC to venture into new territories. 

However, UC isn't solely about music; it's a dynamic, all-encompassing experience. They added a unique visual and editorial flair to UC, making it an aesthetic delight.

Underground Colombo on SoundCloud is more than just a platform; it's a testament to the commitment and dedication of these individuals and the community they've nurtured. The beats, melodies, and sonic landscapes come to life through this collaborative effort.

Belu Clavero is deeply rooted in the exciting club circuit of Buenos Aires, regularly performing at some of the city's most prominent venues and parties, such as The Bow, Crobar Club, Pacha BA, or Palacio Alsina, to name just a few. In her sets, she offers an exquisite blend of progressive house, deep house, and melodic techno.

Her ability to read the crowd and select the best tracks at the perfect moment has led her to be chosen to share the lineup with some of the most significant artists in the international scene, such as Innellea, Bob Moses, Monolink, Hosh, Davi, Khen, Roy Rosenfeld, Jeremy Olander, among many others.

Additionally, she has been invited to participate in major festivals such as Cosquín Rock in Córdoba, Metropolitano de Rosario alongside Eelke Kleijn, Mandarine Park with Nick Warren, the Hipódromo de Rosario with Artbat, the impressive La Fabrica venue in Cordoba with Colyn, the renowned Resistance festival, and the paradisiacal Palapas in Mendoza alongside WhoMadeWho.

She has also taken her music to other Latin American countries, performing in Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay, and recently in Chile alongside superstar DJ Peggy Gou.

She released her debut EP on one of the hottest labels of the moment, "TRYBESOf," alongside local producer Valdovinos, with the support of renowned DJ and talent scout Lee Burridge

1994 - die Zeit, in der man einen Club nur mit Trillerpfeife und Schweißerbrille betreten wollte, lagen lange hinter uns. ;) Es waren nun schon 3 Jahre vergangen, seitdem wir von diesem „Techno-Virus“ infiziert wurden. 3 Jahre, in denen all unser Geld (das war nicht gerade viel als Azubi bzw. Student) in Platten bzw. die Anschaffung zweier Technics floss. Neben dem gleichen Musikgeschmack verband uns, dass wir uns regelmäßig im Musikladen beim Platten-Durchwühlen im Weg standen (weil der andere grad mal wieder das letzte Exemplar der neuen Djax-Up ergattert hatte). Naja, im Elastic, der Distillery oder in der Duschkabine hat man sich auch öfters gesehen. Einig waren wir uns jedenfalls darin, dass die Leipziger Club- und Partylandschaft mehr bieten sollte. Zur Gründung von "Unknown Species" hat dann nicht mehr viel gefehlt. Der Reiz und vor allem die Lust, einfach mal was Eigenes auf die Beine zu stellen war einfach da!
Fortan beschäftigten wir uns also damit, geeignete Locations zu finden. Unter den damals noch oft ungeklärten Eigentumsverhältnissen, war das vergleichsweise einfach. Zur Organisation von Bar, Deko, Anlage u.s.w. standen uns jederzeit zahlreiche Helfer zur Seite. Unser Logo sollte ein Embryo sein, gepaart mit dem Namen Unknown Species irgendwie cool!
Am 16.05.1995 war es dann so weit. Wir luden zu unserem ersten Ding in ein altes Fabrikgebäude in Leipzig Eutritzsch. Insgesamt 9 eigene Parties und einige Beteiligungen an anderen Projekten und Partys sind’s dann über einen Zeitraum von 8 Jahren doch geworden.
Mittlerweile sind wir alle „Mittvierziger“ und im allgemeinen Lebensstress versunken, haben aber noch regelmäßigen Kontakt zueinander. Eines ist aber geblieben: Die Liebe zur Elektronischen Musik ist immer noch präsent und verbindet uns!
