This is the first song released on the new Trisektor Projektor album, which is a song about… serendipity; that path of love and acceptance we all seek, it is allusive, sometimes rewarding but just when we start to get it figured out it changes. What is around that next corner, will they smile at us or scowl. We can never tell but we wouldn’t change the mystique.
Even in a long relationship that other person we never completely know, they’ll always be your mystery.

Blindsided

A true story: 
Inspired by love letters written to his mother from his father. Paul Claxton tells the story from 1943 of his father’s unfaltering love for Marion, who waited for him to return alive from the Second World War unscathed and to live his dream of seeing her once again. Did she wait for him all those many years?

Blue Skies

Sometimes love is so perfect, it’s as easy as breathing and this is a love song just about that. The person of admiration gets a 10/10 because there’s no one more perfect for that moment. 
They are what lives are all about, a tapestry of memories and experiences and during those perfect days and “perfect times” we never want them to end.

Gonna Stay Free

Paul Claxton asked friend Joel Ried to write a Saxophone verse and chorus melody over his conceived chord changes thinking that this would just be another instrumental but what Joel came up with was so sexy, it was screaming to have lyrics. 
“I used Joel’s melody to structure them into a steamy love song”. It leaves most of it to your imagination but perhaps it could set the mood one day if you have a hot date. Turn down the lights, put it on and see if the magic happens.

Basket Case

When Paul was in high school he wanted to meet girls, in physical education they were going to study Ballroom Dancing, which was a mixed class: a perfect opportunity, unfortunately being late for class meant punishment. Ostracized to take weight training instead, Claxton never got his dance lesson. Then he became a musician and played dance music for others, to this day he still can’t dance. Now a little later in life, this song is both real and a metaphor for starting a new intimate relationship, he still needs a dance lesson.
