In the month of Dhul Qaidah 6 Hijri, the Prophet (saw) concluded the treaty of Hudaybiyah with the Quraysh. There has been much debate and discussion regarding the implications of the treaty and the lessons we can take from it. So what was the purpose of the treaty, how should it be understood and how was it a victory for the Prophet (saw) and the Muslims?

In this month of Rajab, the Prophet (saw) was taken to Al-Quds and Jannah where Allah (swt) showed him (saw) the delights of Paradise and the torments of Hell. This miraculous event happened at a time of severe trial for the Prophet (saw) and its initial announcement to the Quraysh seemed like a victory for them.

Today Muslims are living through trying times and it seems the detractors of Islam have the upper hand, so what can we learn from al-Isra wal-Mir'raj and the events surrounding it to aid us to traverse these trials and emerge victorious like the Prophet (saw).

What It Profit The Man

There is something coming our way, many of us can feel it and many of us are raising our voices. Unfortunately some of us in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are raising our voice in opposition to the chosen keys of the Lord himself.  I am raising mine in support of the Lord and his established restored gospel that was and is built on a foundation of Prophets and Apostles with Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone. At a time when we should be bracing for impact and pulling together, Satan has gotten hold of a large portion of our membership and is subtly spreading the seeds of apostasy. I am doing my duty to combat that false doctrine and hopefully the spirit will work past my weaknesses and the messages I share will be of worth to someone.
