Mount Holyoke, Hear Us! is a powerful anthem born from the courage of nearly 200 Mount Holyoke College workers—dining staff, housekeepers, and facilities workers—who took to the picket lines on September 2, 2025, demanding fair wages and respect. Led by a stirring female vocal, backed by a soaring mixed choir, and enriched with emotive violin and driving guitar, this song captures the heart of their struggle and the solidarity of students chanting “pay your workers.” From Rhonda’s resolve to Jorge’s dreams for his family, each verse weaves their stories into a call for justice, echoing the legacy of labor icon Frances Perkins, a Mount Holyoke alumna. This folk-inspired protest anthem is both a tribute to the workers’ unbreakable spirit and a rallying cry for dignity and change. All proceeds support the striking workers of SEIU Local 32BJ and UAW Local 2322. Join us in amplifying their voices—Mount Holyoke, hear us!

An anthem for those who refuse to kneel. A song carved from the rubble of collapsing systems and false prophets. 

It evokes a city in ruins, not just physically but morally, where freedom is no longer granted, only taken. Behind its grey skyline and flickering neon lies a quiet revolution: breaking chains, rejecting rules, and exposing the hollow sparkle of false jewels. 

This is the sound of defiance when the last wall falls.

'Rajkahini' is a song written by us, The Orbits to bring into ears the flow of power from royalty to rebellion. It tells a story in the form of a conversation between a tyrannical king and the ferryman of Death (Chitragupta). The king believes he has done nothing to warrant a rebellion, but as the song progresses, understands what he has done to his kingdom. This tale can be interpreted in many ways, but it carries a message, that actions have corresponding consequences. If one listens to the song, instead of simply hearing it, they can hear the message of contemplating one's own actions. The song was written in a metaphorical way, and the music was composed as a natural progression of consequence. The instrumentation alternates between heavy and light, as does life itself. It is simple to play and yet difficult to hear. It is made with soul, not to chase numbers but to set upon the world a new way of thinking. With that, we hope it comforts the disturbed and disturbs the comforted.
