Fill Your Head With Phantasm collected the labels first few vinyl releases with a few exclusive new releases thrown in.. the cover boasts the sub title “Psychedelic Trance” pretty much the first time this soon to be ubiquitous term was used on a Goa Trance release. The original release featured the tunes sequenced into a continuous mix. Here the complete tracks are available individually for the first time.

Full Lotus is a Psychedelic DJ based in London and signed to Parvati Records. At the age of 12 he discovered the word 'psychedelic' whilst reading a comic and after looking up the meaning, decided that it could be fun. 

He started DJing on vinyl whilst at university playing a mixture of Alternative and Psychedelic rock and formed a student society with a focus on mainly 60's psychedelia. During this time he was exposed to underground electronic dance music from the early 90's UK scene and heard some people talking about 'Goa' parties and 'Goa' music and thought this also sounded like it could be fun.

Following a trip to Goa in late 1995, he became hooked on the music he heard at the beach parties and upon returning in early 1996, he began attending numerous Goa style parties in London. The following year he started organizing trance/techno events with a friend and started to DJ in London. In 1998 he became a resident DJ for the Kundalini party organization. This was the start of the Full Lotus project. After hearing the first Parvati Records compilation, First Step, he embraced this particular sound and became one of the first DJ’s in the UK to play it at parties.

With over thirty years of experience behind the decks, he is a regular fixture on the London psychedelic trance scene and currently plays what is known these days as dark/forest psychedelic trance or as he used to call it, twisted night time funk. His DJ sets are performed with the intention of making both your body and mind dance.

Mindfield was formed in London around 1992 by musicians John Ford & Simon Carman and pioneering Goa Trance DJ’s Mark Allen and Chrisbo, then resident DJ’s at their seminal London Party Pagan. They played at Return To The Source, Megatripolis, Space Hopper and many other genre defining parties and events of the early UK Goa trance scene, releasing a string of classic 12” vinyl releases and CD tracks such as Lets Get Stoned & Watch The Freaks and Odyssey Of The Mind & finally a double CD album collecting their tracks from ’94-’99. 

Mark and Chrisbo left around ’96 to work as Quirk & Medicine Drum, leaving John & Simon to run their enormously influential Phantasm and Psychic Deli imprints which featured the earliest output of some of the scenes most talented artists, many of whom are among the most popular psytrance artists around today.

Sadly, Simon died in 1997 after a battle with leukaemia leaving John to fly the Mindfield flag at numerous parties & festivals worldwide such as Universo Parallelo, XXXPerience, Neverland, Indian Spirit, Full Moon etc.. until the present day as well as appearing in the worlds best clubs such as Club A in Sao Paulo, Comfort 13 and The Block in Tel Aviv, Difer Ariake in Tokyo, Heaven in Seoul, Ministry Of Sound in London, Backyard In Ko Pha Ngan etc.. and continuing to record as Mindfield as well as some memorable collaborations with Dickster, Mad Maxx, and Cosmosis among others, including with his son, psytrance legend Eskimo ..

Don Quixote is a 19 year old, Psychedelic Trance artist from Novi Sad, Serbia.

It all started in 2020 when his friend introduced Psytrance to him. Quickly falling in love with the genre and its scene, Don Quixote started producing quickly after by experimenting with unique sounds and oriental melodies. With his love and passion for music since he was a kid, he quickly picked it up and started making energetic, happy and melodic sound with unique jumpy basslines and punchy hard hitting kicks.
Don Quixote is a rising artist working on Progressive and Full On sub-genre of Psytrance.
