Cookies Slayer is a French Psytechno live act and sound designer based in Montpellier. His music blends techno, psytrance, acid techno, dark progressive and experimental styles, often shaped by world music elements and unconventional structures. Through this psytechno project, he explores a personal trajectory within the underground electronic scene.

His tracks combine original sound design with processed samples, built around rhythmic shifts, textural changes and non-linear structures. 303 patterns, broken arrangements and contrast are key elements in his work. With a background in audio for film and games, he composes with precision, focusing on detail, structure and sound quality.

He performs primarily live, reconstructing his own tracks on stage. His sets move between dark peaktime techno, psytechno and psytrance, offering a personal and fully crafted performance.

Under the alias Select Username, he explores the faster and more abrasive side of his sound, producing crossbreed, drum & bass and hybrid bass music. The project focuses on raw intensity and high-BPM.

He also runs 303BPM, a label supporting experimental approaches to electronic dance music. It supports artists who prioritise sound design, work across genres, and build music that remains both unconventional and effective on the dancefloor.

ShnugDub is the psychedelic dub act of Courtney Barends. Growing up in Johannesburg South Africa, she draws influence from 90s hip-hop, drum ‘n bass and dubstep. Her involvement in the Cape Town psytrance community for the last 13 years has led to a deep exploration of each psychedelic genre known to humankind, allowing her to combine dubby psychedelic sounds with broken rhythms, and crunchy twisted basslines ranging from dub to mid-tempo grooves.

Nightshade emerged from the questionable liquids of the pre-social media NYC dance scene. Since then, she’s played everything from grimy warehouse basements to renegade forest raves to massive festivals, like Warped Tour, Burning Man, Love Parade, Firefly, Candyball, Whistle, Elements, Therapy, and Transformus, among other gloriously unhinged dancefloors.

Her guest mixes have been featured on DNB Radio, Kind Radio, Bass Movement, State of the Art, Newy Bass Crew Series (AUS), and Radio Ninja. Some of them even on purpose.

Unapologetically eclectic, her sets are a magnetic blend of sounds: melodic instrumentals, bounce-heavy basslines, captivating vocals, and liquid grooves. 

Nightshade doesn’t color outside the lines, she just finds weirder crayons. Expect reckless dancefloor DNB or a plot twist with a sly grin. She's dropped opera at outlaws, reworked showtunes at raves, shamelessly blended metal remixes with pop, and continues to operate under the delusion that techstep and tribal trap could be friends. From anthemic rollers to deep cut oddities, her selections always land exactly where they should.

Officially Boston-based, unofficially wherever the sub-woofer calls. Still underground. Still unpredictable. Still ruining shoes in the best way possible.

I make psychedelic bass music. Ranging from psydub, to midtempo and up to drum and bass but always with that psychedelic feel. 

I've played at Masters of Puppets in Czech Republic, SUTI in Portugal, Mystic Sound in Goa and Magikana in Wales. As well as hometurf festivals Triplicity, Chrysalids & The Wildthings, Existance and a regular at the legendary Tribe of Frog events.
