I feel like this Psych 312 assignment is driving me to the brink. Out of all people, I have Robbie Moravian as my project partner to investigate the existence of love at first sight. Seriously?

Robbie is the epitome of a hopeless romantic, perpetually cheerful to the point where it's maddening. You'd think he would learn from our own nearly disastrous encounter last semester, which almost got us expelled.

But the fact remains that both of us need to pass this course in order to graduate. Consequently, we find ourselves interviewing random couples about their meet-cute experiences and relationships, spending an absurd amount of time together. It's definitely an enlightening experience... in its own way.

What I'm slowly realizing is that Robbie is more than just the charismatic, cliché-prone guy I initially thought he was. There's a surprising depth beneath his cheesy dad jokes and his obsession with vintage '70s attire (even though he inexplicably pulls off the flared collar look). Suddenly, he's accompanying me back to my office regularly, finishing my sentences, and even shielding me from unexpected storms. It's all rather... unexpected.

Hold on a second. Could Robbie actually be onto something? Is it possible for happy endings to emerge from less-than-ideal beginnings? Is he about to upend my entire perspective on the world?

I've always despised group projects, and this one is no exception. But it seems this particular assignment might be leading me down a path I never anticipated.

this was originally the second part of the same name from the track the end of hypnagogia in three parts.
when i first wrote it, i thought it would stand nicely alone.
so now i finally came around to mixing it separately.
there is a new intro and outro, in a drone kinda way.
the body is the same repetitive stuff, with the addition of the odd guitar.

the photo is a bird in a park. i think it was a crow but i might be horribly mistaken.
tried to photo it while it was walking on the ground, but couldnt and then it rose on a light post.
manic saturations applied as always.
