Window Pain was a form of LSD in the 1960's - 1980's - it is easily made from local plants, and most researchers and doctors today are now saying microdosing helps depression and can alter people's interpretation of the world around them. These alterations on a whole, can help. If done in proper settings. There are many stories and urban mythologies that talk about people dropping "Acid" as it was commonly called. Interrupting a friends or other persons relaxing, taking in the effects. Then, using that vulnerability against them, staging fake murders or other cruel intentions to fool people as jokes. Some went horribly wrong. The government used LSD on its own troops. The "Unwilling Subjects" were exposed to very pure very concentrated doses. These type experiments can alter a person's perception of the world around them permanently. It may also affect their own body's genetic structure. 
This song does not advocate the use of hallucinogenic molecules.

Today we revisit a 1971 talk by Dr. John C. Lilly: physician, neuroscientist, tireless psychonaut, and one of the most audacious explorers of consciousness in the twentieth century.
John Lilly was a frequent teacher at Esalen and a close friend of Esalen co-founder Dick Price.  He begins teaching at Esalen as early as 1968, focusing on what he called the human biocomputer and lecturing in part on “isolation, solitude, and confinement experiments.” 
Lilly is widely known for three things; first, he invented the first isolation tank — a dark and silent vessel filled with a saline solution that is meant to suspend the body and expose the mind to itself. He made his first one in 1954. Second, Lilly was convinced of the possibility of interspecies communication, notably between dolphins and homo sapiens. And finally, Lilly was an early experimenter with ketamine, from a psychedelic point of view, an interest that ultimately led to an addiction which drove him quite mad. 
However, during this talk from 1971, he is in great form, speaking about the concept and practice of Satori: the instantaneous awakening, the shock of direct perception.

Born from sleepless nights and frequencies that never quite fit the daylight, Deep Circuit is not just music; it’s a journey into the underworld of sound. Each track is a ritual, carved from distortion, stitched with echoes, and baptized in relentless kick-bass.

The project lived in fragments, from synthesizers and the pulse of machines in the studio. These fragments became spells, binding chaos into rhythm. What emerged was not entertainment, but initiation,  a portal into the darker side of psytrance.

 At 160–170 BPM, the music tears away illusions, leaving raw vibration, raw emotion. The influences are many: the twisted storytelling, the chaotic drive, and the industrial pulse. 
But the voice of Deep Circuit is its own.
