"SOS Long Live the Ball Waltz (Original Composition)", Inspired by the enchanting piano music of Polish Maria Szymanowska (1789-1831), now in Public Domain, I present this nocturnal waltz, a dreamy serenade that whispers secrets of the night.  As a one-man band countertenor composer, I poured my heart into this piece, crafting lyrics from scratch based on my real-life broken heart and recording them in the studio with tears, I played all the instruments myself, multiplying the sounds to create the orchestral experience I needed.  Through intricate arrangements and dedicate phrasing in my one-man band setup, I create a symphony of moonlit emotions that's both intimate and epic.  Every note is a gentle breeze on a summer's eve, a soothing melody that transports you to another era, a cry from the heart, a falsetto whisper in the darkness. 

This piece features a unique structure, with Part A unfolding in E Minor at a 160 BPM in 3/4-time, while Part B shifts to A Minor, slowing to 80 BPM in 6/8-time - a bold experimentation that makes this masterpiece impossible to be replicated by anyone, standing alone worldwide.

SOS Heartbeat in the Dark Waltz (Original Composition)

"Le Roman d'Elvire" (The Tale of Elvira), an opéra-comique in three acts with music by Ambroise Thomas (1811–1896), premiered in Paris on 4 February 1860. Set to an original libretto by Alexandre Dumas (père), the work was met with anticipation but failed to captivate Parisian audiences. Indeed, the failure inspired Thomas to reassess his compositional style, and his biggest successes - "Mignon" and "Hamlet" - followed some years later. For Dumas's part, he never wrote a libretto for the stage again. Nevertheless, this overture is another unknown masterpiece by a known master; written entirely in 6/8 (though in different tempi), the interconnected themes are distinctly and colorfully set apart, while sonata form is eschewed almost entirely. 

World premiere recording. The orchestral realization was created using Finale 27 and NotePerformer 4.

LA GLU ("The Glue") is an opera in four acts (billed as a 'drame musical populaire') with music by Gabriel Dupont (1878–1914), first performed in Nice on 24 January 1910. It is based on Jean Richepin's scandalous 1881 novel - also famously dramatized in 1883, starring Sarah Bernhardt - with libretto by Richepin himself, and Henri Cain. The story takes place in a very salty 19th century Brittany, and tells the tale of the young and dashing Marie-Pierre, and his suffering mother Marie-des-Anges, as he is seduced by the schemes of a newcomer from Paris - Fernande, known as 'La Glu' - who signs her letters with the catchphrase "Qui s'y frotte, s'y colle!" ("Rub against it, you're stuck!")

Dupont's music is dense and melodramatic, like the literary source material, and bears the hallmarks of Dupont's compositional mentors, Massenet and Widor. Never performed in Paris, the work quickly faded into obscurity following its premiere, as did most of Dupont's œuvre; dead at 36 he did not have the chance to develop his style into the burgeoning 20th century. The music presented here is from the first act - the opening Prélude, and the Interlude between the first and second scenes. World premiere recording. The orchestral realization was created using Finale 27 and NotePerformer 4.

Ronny Matthes is a German composer and pianist. 
He was born in 1979 in Eberswalde (Germany) and worked in Saxony's state capital "Dresden".

He wrote many piano pieces and classical arrangements. 

He also produced a large number of Christmas songs, which were published in the CD series "Special Christmas Songs" and "Die schönsten Weihnachtslieder".

His works were published through the label "Matthesmusic - Verlag, Vertrieb & Gemafreie Musik". 

His music is mostly marketed as "Royalty Free Music".

Background music for hotels and restaurants has appeared in the CD series "Background Music", as well as Chillout music in "Chillout & Lounge" and relaxation music in "Wellness & Relaxation".

Since 2006, more than 100 albums by Ronny Matthes have been released.

Born into poverty, I found solace in music as a born countertenor composer and jazz singer.  Life's hardships could have silenced me, but instead, they fueled my art.  I've faced loss, heartbreak, and struggle, yet I pour my pain into every note.  My music is raw, emotional, and authentic - reflection of my journey.  I create not for fame or fortune, but to share my story and connect with those who'll listen.  From waltzes to jazz, my songs are a testament to resilience and the power of voice.
