When we first heard this EP we were blown away by it's funky goodness. With cuttings of classic funk flavour and spaced out bassy goodness we couldn't resist get our thick lil mits on this. 

Pulsecode has been heavily influenced by the sounds of The Sponges, Jackson 5 and the bass house & UKG scene in general. Those influences have made for psychedelic banger that is "Get On Down" and a tangent of bass slapping goodness in his track "Happy Slapper"

We have been rinsing this EP at all of our Thick Nights for the last year and we have to say this one slaps hard!

   TAMARA LANZA has lit a blazing trail across the California DJ scene, as her chameleon-like ability to cater to the crowd and venue has her playing a danceable Disco / All-Time Hits House Remixes at a Club one night, an Electro House / Dark Techno at a Warehouse Party the next night, finally a Vibey Afrobeat / Tribal Deep House set at a remote camping festival. 

   Seamlessly cross mixing between genres, Tamara manages to unlock the unique tastes of each crowd while never being pinned down to one style. Despite her relatively brief time behind the DJ decks, Tamara has already shared stages with industry standouts such as Shiba San, Morten, Silver Panda, Shapshifters, Adam Auburn, Diablo, Tube & Berger, Colette, Mark London, Maheez, AWSUMO, Jaden Bojsen, Lupe Fuentes, Paul Ahi, Ofier, Galen, to name a few.

   Her musical journey began in Argentina where at age three she was composing piano pieces, at 11 she could play ten different instruments and started winning national singing competitions. At the age of 19 she sang in front of a crowd of 25,000 at the Ostravar Aréna in the Czech Republic.

   Tamara has now lived in 5 countries and currently resides in Southern California performing regularly as a multi genre DJ, live electronic music act, producer and vocalist.

   Whether spinning beats in the jungles of Bolivia, dropping fire at Burning Man in Black Rock City, or getting thousands jumping and screaming at major venues all over California, you can expect a unique performance each night, with self produced edits and mashups mixed with unique remixes of crowd favourites, numerous unreleased and obscure ID’s setting the mood for a musical experience to remember.

   Tamara has performed at: Exchange, Avalon, The Roxy Theater, The Viper Room, Skybar LA, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Bootsy Bellows, MEMBERS, Wisdome LA, Station1640, The Whitley, The W Hotel Hollywood, Melrose House, Hotel Figueroa, Level8, Break Room 86, The Fox Hollywood, Mirüs Gallery, The Rosegold Saloon, Pattern Bar, General Admission, APT 503, Santa Monica Pier.

Active Limbic System, is an exciting trance duo, formed by George Tripas and Michalis Patakas.
They produce an uplifting, tech-trance and psy-trance blend, which has nailed them signings on labels like FSOE, Regenerate, Nocturnal Knights Music, ITWT, Perfecto Fluoro​, Monster Tunes​, Mental Asylum Records​, Outburst Records , Discover Dark​ and more.
