June 29, 2023 - Pin Chieh Chen, Kampe

We are lying on the floor of the Klub. Somehow, Kampe has convinced us all to lie flat on our backs on the sticky, creaky floor of the Klub, right on the minotaur drawing. Which was spattered in stage blood about 15 minutes ago.

Somehow, Kampe has communicated all manner of instructions to us, wordlessly, and somehow we followed every one of their orders. We became a fountain for Apollo, we became a wiggly bridge under which they crawled to greet Polyxena.

Now, they have us all lying on the floor.

They duck behind the bar and emerge with a spray bottle. Spritz spritz, straight up into the light, and we are doused in water droplets. We all collapse into a fit of giggles.

After cooling off, Kampe pulls us up, one by one, and then they take their place in the centre of the Klub, as the curtain opens to reveal Polydorus.

September 17, 2023 - Hesperides shop 

The queen clings to a tiny moment of hope in a sea of despair.

"...My boy. My boy still lives. Troy will rise again!"

From the other room, Askalaphos wheezes out a laugh.

Hope doesn't last long around here.

July 12, 2023 - Troy, Tenement Square 

The lost children of Troy have found each other.

She chose this, but she had no choice. He wanted to die for his country, but instead he died for another man's greed.

Both newly resurrected, testing out unsteady limbs, joints that move differently than before.

Polyxena and Polydorus embrace - they still can remember one another. It's all a blur, but this is a bond that cannot be broken.

They rush, jump, chase, in ghostly play. They part, they find each other again. Something calls to them: Polyxena finds it first, then Polydorus follows.

There he is, with the suitcase, clearing away the evidence. She comes up close, whispers in his ear, laughs. Polydorus approaches him from the other side. They point, compelling him to go: There's a party upstairs, and he's the guest of honour.

August 5, 2023 - Sake bar

Zagreus and Apollo have locked themselves away, so I'm waiting in the sake bar - Laocoon is there, giving his little magic show while the city is under seige.

He conjures black sand out of nowhere, which spills out between his fingers onto a tray.

I expect him to draw an eye - instead, he traces a simple triangle in the sand.

He runs his finger along the three sides, then he traces four, morphing the triangle into a square. Then the square becomes a pentagon. Then a hexagon. Around and around he goes, with beautiful precision, until each side becomes so small that they flow into one another, forming a perfect circle, a deep channel into which he pours a moat of blood.

July 23, 2023 - Ciacco's, closing time

Eurydice is shaken.

She's had a hell of a day. And now this.

She returns to her spot behind the counter. She rips off the latest order from her notepad, and, hands trembling, she writes:
Nothing is Real?
...
Forever?

A man walks in.

"There's a crack," he says carefully. "A crack. In the square. Closing time."

He holds his cupped hands out and nods, forcefully, to the bottle of whiskey. Eurydice doesn't know what's going on, but it seems unwise to refuse him.

He goes off to do what he needs to do. She steps out of the cafe, her legs not her own.

It's time.

Hesperides Finest Fake Flowers

Her punishment wasn't quite a punishment.

Well, it was, obviously it was, the florist is shedding feathers at an alarming rate, their bones are twisting and cracking, their joints don't line up the way they should.

They've become a wretched, lazy owl. The vilest bird, the messenger of grief, a bad omen to all mankind. If only they hadn't opened their stupid mouth.

But it means they're gonna fly away from here. Out of this place. Up, up, somewhere they can finally see the sunlight.

They'll be free.

(Don't tell her.)

July 7, 2023 - Watchman, loop 3

Agamemnon is coming home, and Watchman is there to pick up the aftermath of the violence. It's her duty. She goes to the girders and grips them, letting her arms support her weight. She watches the stairs.

There's harsh bright light coming down on her, but she's lit in red from below. At first, I think it's some sort of light-reflection from the brilliant scarlet cape at her feet, but then I see the smaller light on the ground she's positioned herself in front of.

She's returned from war, she's seen what the uncaring machine will do to innocent young women.

And now she picks up the pieces. It's her duty.

She takes the crumpled cape. She takes the fallen veil. She takes them to the shrine hidden in the sails and rope.

The third and last veil. She folds it up and places it on the shrine, right next to the two others. We have been here before. 

No more. She prays, lowering her head, curving her arm.

A goddess will come with seeds. The seeds may yet grow. Much has been lost, but there is still hope.

July 18, 2023 - Happy Hepsia Arcade

Ah, young love.

The couple are teeth-achingly sweet, giddy and drunk, dancing on the DDR machine, chasing each other around, stealing kisses. Her hair is the colour of bubblegum. He only has eyes for her.

She has her back against the wall and he leans in. Playfully, she swats at the strings of beads hanging from a nearby lamp - the hanging crystals tinkle joyously.

An ocean away, the wind is finally picking up. The windchimes sound for the first time in ten years.

This is the moment before it all changes. Enjoy it while it lasts.

July 19, 2023 - Troy finale

The end of everything is brewing.

Laocoön knows it: he draws a spiral that loops on itself, making a perfect flower of a cluster of a circle - then branching the line straight outward. The loop is breaking. Hades comes near.

Laocoön gathers a cluster of ghosts, has them hold their hands together, one on top of the other. Hades comes over, cupping his hands, holding whiskey. He drips it over the white masks' hands.

"Around," Laocoön whispers. The four WMs begin walking in a tight circle, hands still held in the centre, a pinwheel.

The thunder roars. The lights shine a blue that bathes the entire square.

The music begins.

Laocoön has left them, but they carry on. Around and around.

Other shades are spinning around in a wider circle, in the opposite direction. Everything is spinning. The whole town square is a whirlwind.

Hecuba arrives. Did we bring her here? Did we summon the furies? Did *we* break the loop?

September 6, 2023 - Hesperides shop

The florist comes in through the back door and collapses on the chair. They slam back a couple of pills from out of their pocket, stashed there just in case. They close their eyes.

When they open them again, they've gone glassy. They stare out into nothing and slide down the chair, spine turned to jelly. They sink to the floor.

Grounded. Now they can see more than they did before. Askalaphos looks around slowly, surrounded by figures in white beaks, and laughs. This is it, they've finally lost it, the pills and potions and trauma have taken their toll. And the ghosts keep on staring.

The florist crouches down, head bowed, but extends their arm and points one slender finger to the other side of the shop, where a queen is having the worst moment of her life which is about to turn into the second-worst.

Askalaphos parts their lips, takes in a breath, and screams with her, silently, in perfect unison. 

The crowd of shades is far too thick to see the queen, but every line on her face and every trace of pain is reflected back here.

July 13, 2023 - Mycenae

Neoptolemus has lost his best friend. More than his best friend. His soulmate.

Light streams around him and he moves his hands through it, fingers closing in on nothing. However fast he moves, he'll never catch him again. He pounds his heart, again and again, that classic gesture of grief, letting the spiritual pain become physical.

Defeated, he climbs into his bed. Top bunk, above where he used to sleep. Collapses face-down. Buries his head into the pillow, and screams and screams.

When his lungs are empty, he looks up, reaches, but he's already sinking. Time is turning back. There's no opportunity for him to heal, that's not part of this story. He falls into the bed - in a hypnagogic jerk, he wakes from the dream.

He starts his tragedy all over again.

August 24, 2023 - Apollo

He needs to be adored. Needs it like oxygen. Needs it like a plant needs the sun.

No sun down here... So he uses the last drops of his power on parlour tricks to impress the mortals. Nothing fancy - just a little peek into the future for her, a few moments of weightlessness for him.

What is a god if he is not worshipped, loved, feared? What is a god if nobody will die for him, kill for him?

A young man runs past. Terrified, desperate.

The lights all go out. The god cackles. He'll do.

September 15 - Hinterlands, end of loop 3

It's not home. But home is gone.

The shrines aren't like the ones back home. It's bigger, grander, but crude, carved into the raw stone. Not the polished, moulded, mass-produced niches built into the walls of Troy. Not the one tiny candle, but dozens. The desert glows in devotional light. It's beautiful, in its way.

It's not the god she's used to praying to. But he has wronged her. He's not her god anymore.

But she knows how to pray. The cities are so different, but that much is the same. She bows her head, she raises the antler.

It's a strange place.

Let it be her home now.

August 2 - Shell bedroom

When he tells her "of course", her child is safe, her lips twitch into a smile. A smirk, the tiniest comfort, for while everything has been taken from her, now she can take something back.

It won't be much, but it's all she can do, so it will be everything.

She finds her son's passport at the altar of a horned god. She sees his lavish coat draped on the chair and she laughs. This is the lifestyle that child murder buys you? Your soul is worth that little?

She takes the fur, it's hers by right.
Ελάτε, ερινύες, ελάτε.

They do come, they swarm around her. And she sees they were with her all along - watching, waiting.

And she gathers more, and she gathers more, and she cackles, it's time! And both her children are here in spirit, and they are gathering crowds of their own, to bear witness to the justice and to start the end of everything.

June 25, 2023 - just before Troy finale

Luba and Polymestor are alone.

Hecuba has walked away, Polymestor has his pride and his treasures, and now he has Luba to himself, too.

Last loop he draped his arm around her, claiming her, but this time it isn't as physical - he just whispers in her ear. I can't hear it, but I can see her reaction. Whispering all manner of things. Things that make her clamp up tight, and still he's saying them, that doesn't matter to him, he gets a thrill even when she wants no part in it.

He's using her as his object, and he barely even has to touch her.

She is shaken. Finally he leaves, and she collects herself.

She takes a deep breath, dunks her head into the water bowl on the dresser, and screams under the surface. Releases the rage in blubs and bubbles.

When she brings her head up, she's changed.

She moves swiftly to the next room to grab her dress. She looks up. "It's party time," she tells us.

June 30, 2023 - Troy back alleys, near the end of the loop

Askalaphos walks through the alleys of Troy, twitching and jerking, on a mission. She finds a perch and climbs onto it.

Up on the ledge, silhouetted against the sign, she curls herself up, and then a taloned hand begins to reach. At who, at what? At me. I'm right underneath, craning my neck up, fixed on her because who can look away when it's Fania fuckin Grigoriou doing what she does best, just a woman fully turning into an owl on a Friday night. Her eyes are crazed, desperate, and so round, somehow more round than they should be, not quite human.

After a few moments her gaze shifts minutely, and I'm not the target anymore. Still she reaches down, and it's Apollo come to inspect his blessing. He sees her and he reaches up in return - and then, when their fingers are mere inches apart, he crumples to the ground.

She stretches further helplessly, but it's no use. His power is out. He's given all he can give, the rest is up to her.

But she is gonna fly. Even if only for a moment.

August 30, 2023 - Sake bar

Words are never really adequate, are they? For conveying all of the... the specificity. The individual specificity you find everywhere you look. Every thing in its time and its place, unique. Unlike any other.

Hades is telling me that my work is futile.

He's right, of course. Words can never capture the whole of what I'm experiencing. They never could.

But I've got to try. All I can do is fail as little as possible. If I can preserve one fraction of one moment, if I can bottle up my memory and share it with someone else, even if imperfectly... It's worth doing.

Because Hades might have eternity, but we do not.

Biography:

I got into DJing through my interest in techno music initially in the early 90s when techno was becoming more and more established in the clubs! At that time especially at private parties with and 
at friends, my great interest and enthusiasm for DJing arose through the confrontation between turntable and mixer that arose here and there and thus also my interest in producing music or DJing.
I try to modernize and reflect the dark bunker sound of today's popular club sounds. The techno direction I produce is a bassfull and at the same time driving techno sound with interesting dark melodies and sounds and
underlaid with suitable effect sounds. My selection of songs that I use for my podcasts are techno songs that I have listened to, made a selection 
and what I like about it in terms of taste, of course based on the common and hip club beats and sounds. After a long break, the goal is to reestablish myself in the scene with good sets and sounds. The aim would also be to have contacts 
and opportunities again through our own increasing polarity in order to
perhaps support and further help and promote younger talents more easily, but I will never really stop mixing or producing music myself, only the
performances will improve over the years will definitely be less. 
But definitely not now!!!!!!....... hopefully there will be many more musicthings and joint projects with other colleagues, which I'm really looking forward too! Thank you very much for listening and to be honest I'm just overwhelmed by how many really like my music and recommend me to others! Really drives you, does you good and I'll definitely keep doing it for you Safe
