Sonora es una dj y artista interdisciplinar con una carrera de 5 años, sus primeros eventos fueron durante la pandemia, ha tocado en eventos con artistas internacionales y con otros grandes dls de la escena nacional. Fue de las primeras Dls trans el país y sus sets van desde el reggaeton, el trap, la música latina, el pop y el techno.

Les invitamos leer esta pequeña entrevista que le hicimos a Sonora:

-¿Qué te motivó a convertirte en DJ y qué desafíos y consejos destacarías para quienes empiezan en la escena electrónica costarricense?

La pandemia fue un punto de partida, y también el darme cuenta de lo feliz que me hace ver a la gente bailar. 

A quienes están empezando, les diría que escuchen mucha música, vean muchos sets y también se atrevan a escuchar música que odien, porque todo suma. 

Uno de los principales retos en la escena electrónica costarricense es que a les DJs les cuesta generar y desarrollar una identidad musical propia.

The Adults Want Psytrance (TAWP + a.k.a. @AnimisticLive) is a progressive & full-on psytrance producer and DJ who has on the psychedelic music culture a way of life.
Highly influenced by Pink Floyd since the early ages, has joined psychedelic electronic music scene in middle 00's. Firstly DJing as a pure hobby on small friend parties, soon started studying and getting into writing & production in 2010, since then spends the whole free time to his major life passion. 
His presentations always brings brain melting combinations of creamy psychedelia with fat powerful basslines & ass kicking dry drops. Afternoons filled with groovy & melodic progressive vibes turns into faster straight forward nights during his transition sets.
Since settled in Ireland, has been a frequent name on the biggest psytrance parties & festivals and had been sharing the decks with guys such Sensient, Avalon, Captain Hook, GMS, 1200mics, Zeamoon, 28 Live, Kularis, Otezuka, Hyper Frequencies, Pedro Squee, Subsaharan & many more.
