Musically, Flight of the Gander unfolds as a trance-like meditation: a repeating chord sequence becomes the steady breath, while a simple piano melody rises and dissolves like the bird in flight — sometimes whole, sometimes fragmented. My newest jazz album continues this tradition — short-lined swing tracks, conversational duets, and tongue-in-cheek storytelling. It’s an homage to late-night alleyway ballads, rooftop serenades, and train station goodbyes — all bound together with a sense of charm and cohesion. Each song is its own little scene, but together they tell a story — one you can revisit with each replay.

Studied Clarinet and Theory at the Gibraltar Music Centre. Played clarinet in the local municipal band, Youth Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra.  Toured with a rock band as lead guitarist. Sang in the Tenor section of the Calpe Singers. Founder member of the Band of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment rising to Warrant Officer 2nd Class, appointed BSM. Musical Director of local productions of West End musicals. Conducts the “Calpe Band” and the “Gibraltar Band and Drums Association”.

Have written some processional, concert and military marches, including one for His Majesty the Sultan of Oman. AI-ASSISTED, multi-genre producer from Australia. I co-write concepts with chatGPT (I use AI mostly sanity check, style guides etc. the motives and core lyrics are my own), guide a Suno pass, then rebuild: swap/overdub parts, arrange, add, remove, mix & master, sound effects etc. 

References run from Level 42 and Mike Oldfield to KLF-era rave, drill, garage to the demoscene, I am not much of a fan of country and that hard core stuff, but everything else I <3
