It's that time of the year again, after having some rest bite after his debut album 'Parallel Introspection' one of the most exciting up comers is back with his debut release in 2025...

We're proud to welcome back Rue a core artist of the Yamatai family who only joined us just over a year ago and has since made remarkable strides within the Drum & Bass scene. Following the success of his debut mini-album Parallel Introspection, which boldly pushed his creative boundaries, Rue returns to the imprint with a powerful two-track single Come On / Repeat.

A production journey so far that has been nothing short of exceptional. With both an album and an EP already under his belt each receiving critical acclaim, top chart placements, and support from some of the most respected names and labels in the Drum & Bass sphere. Rue continues to raise the bar each and every time. With a forthcoming release on Domain also on the horizon, Rue is clearly just getting started.

This project delivers two sheik and addictive club cuts that further pushes Rue’s growing reputation in the genre. Both tracks reflect the label’s sonic identity with precision showcasing stripped-back minimalism, high-energy roller elements, and, of course, Rue’s unmistakable flair for complex bass design written in unique rhythmic structures.

A true Yamatai legend and someone we’re incredibly proud to represent, Rue is an artist whose sound, vision, and work ethic deserve every bit of recognition.

Nico Picerno (nato il 10 luglio 1996 a Bari, Italia), è un membro della nobile Casa Cellamare (un comune della città metropolitana di Bari) e uno dei produttori più ascoltati della scena Hard Dance. Membro di Casa Cellamare, Nico Picerno ha gradi di parentela con l'attuale consulente legale, Responsabile dello Studio Legale Commerciale e Istituzionale presso L'Organizzazione delle Nazioni Unite, in sigla ONU. La passione per la musica di Nico nacque sin da bambino. La sua è una storia fatta di determinazione e passione per la musica, da sempre protagonista della sua vita. Nel 2012 decise di voler diventare un DJ, dopo aver visto l'esibizione di Hardwell al Tomorrowland. Ad ispirarlo particolarmente fu il brano "Call Me A Spaceman feat. Mitch Crown" tanto da scaricare un programma per creare musica ed iniziare le sue prime produzioni. Nico si è presto appassionato alla musica Melbourne Bounce, finché non ha scoperto la musica Hard Dance. Da quel momento è partita la sua strabiliante carriera. Consegue il diploma presso il liceo scientifico Giuseppe Tarantino di Gravina di Puglia, in seguito si iscrive presso l'Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro, dove studia giurisprudenza. Ha iniziato a ballare danze latino-americane a 20 anni. Il 1º gennaio 2020 Nico Picerno ha fondato la propria etichetta discografica Vengeance Recordings, attraverso la quale ha pubblicato il 14 settembre 2020 il singolo "Heartbeat" che ha raggiunto la ventiduesima posizione di Talent Pool, mentre il 28 dicembre ha pubblicato il singolo "Rotary", che raggiunge velocemente la ventunesima posizione di Talent Pool. Il 12 aprile 2021 pubblica il suo kick edit di "Dawn" che ha raggiunto la diciassettesima posizione di Talent Pool. Il 20 dicembre Nico ha pubblicato il singolo di debutto "Jingle Bells", che raggiunge velocemente l'undicesima posizione di Talent Pool. Il 14 febbraio 2022 ha pubblicato il singolo "Calabria" che ha raggiunto la quindicesima posizione di Talent Pool, mentre il 2 maggio è stata la volta del singolo "Ma Cherie".
