I will sit on a track or a project and never release it because i can get so caught up in how i want it to sound and that it should not be released until it is perfect to me. I've been working on that and finding a happy medium, the best creative processes are those where you don't think, and you just create. My eyes were hurting from staring at ableton, so i fired up the sx2's, and ~30min later my cookies and milk mix was born. a few of these tracks have been floating around in various mixes, but the way this all turned is pretty dope. I threw up that guitar track at the end in like 30 seconds ha, and just ran with it. tried to do as little post mix editing, besides throwing up a master chain on the master bus, it's all very in the moment, makes me feel better about that very risky (and kind of poorly executed) Slander X GWN >> HUMBLE.
