Roam (표랑: wandering aimlessly.)

I liked walking. Rather than driving, I liked walking, riding a bike, and directly experiencing the air and sounds that touched my skin.
Things that I couldn't see when driving appeared before my eyes when I walked, and each of their stories unfolded.
It's hard to endure when I'm alone, and it's hard when I'm with someone.

However, when I walk alone, I feel like I'm not alone, but I'm a spectator, watching other people's lives and projecting my own lives as if I'm flying.

When I feel like that, it's like I'm visiting an amusement park and the happy faces of other families there become my life.

When I enter that life, it's hard to run away, but somehow, on this street, I feel like that happiness is mine, and it's like I'm getting warmer.

This album is a solo trip.

걸어다니는 것을 좋아했습니다. 차를 타고 다니는 것보다는 걷고,
자전거를 타고, 피부로 와닿는 공기와 소리를 직접 부대끼는 것이 좋았습니다.
차를 타면 볼 수 없는 것들이 걸어다닐 때 비로소 눈 앞에 나타나 각자의 이야기를 펼쳐냅니다.
혼자 있으면 견디기 어렵고 같이 있으면 힘들어요.
그런데, 홀로 걸을 때면 혼자이지만 혼자가 아닌 것처럼 구경꾼이 되서 타인들의 삶을 물끄러미 구경하며 그들의 삶 사이를 투영하며 날아다니는 듯 해요.

그럴 때의 기분은 마치 놀이동산에 놀러와서 그곳의 다른 가족들의 행복한 모습이 내 삶이 되어주는 것 같은 기분이 들어요.
그 삶으로 들어가면 힘이 들어 도망쳐 나오지만,
왠지 이 거리에서는 저 행복이 내 것인 양 따듯해져 가는 느낌 같은 것이요.

이번 앨범은 홀로걷는 여행이에요.
