1960's Rock Mix - Piece Of My Heart

All Our Heroes is a song I wrote about the passing of two of my childhood heroes, Robin Williams and Philip Seymour Hoffman. It’s my reflection on what happens when the people we look up to struggle in ways we can’t fix, and the emptiness it leaves behind.

The song blends folk, blues, psychedelic, rock & roll, metal, and soul to capture the mix of grief, confusion, and admiration I felt. It’s heavy, honest, and questions the way we view success, happiness, and the idea of the afterlife.

This one’s for anyone who’s had to reconcile the fallibility of the people they once idolized.
