La playlist de l’émission diffusée le 3 novembre du Radio Gâtine et le 8 novembre sur Radio Val d’Or : 

Partial records a sorti, à la rentrée, un 7 pouce produit et mixé par Vinney Satta au Ellis Studios en Espagne. On y entend « Return Ticket » chanté par Vivian Jones + un dub.

Dans les bacs de Partial Records, il y a aussi la réédition de « A Rain Must Fall » produit par Love Grocer en 2001.

On continue notre découverte des derniers 45 tours sortis par Steve Mosco. Après « Gentrification » la semaine dernière, on écoute la version mélodica « Phebes Rock » par I-lodica, + un dub de Jah Warrior. Et comme on a bien kiffé, on n’attendra pas la semaine prochaine pour vous faire écouter Ramon Judah et le titre « No Capitalist » + son dub.

En cette fin du mois d’octobre, sort un maxi chez Ariwa. Produit par Joe Ariwa, on y entend Ashanti Selah chanté « Leaders of Liberation » +  1 version dub de Joe Ariwa et un autre dub en face B avec Cessman.

On termine avec Awa Fall et un maxi produit cette fois par Mad Professor. Sur le légendaire Kunta Kinte riddim, Awa chante « Dark Clouds », c’est suivi d’une version avec Dean Fraser. En face B, un autre titre de Mad Professor et Dean Fraser, « Silent Invaders » + un dub.

Biography

My music career started way back in my middle school days. Collecting and spinning

tunes in parties. From there I knew music was my passion.

In my teens I was a regular selector for various sound systems. Loverboy

International, Starlight Express, Loveline to name a few. We were in popular demand

and played regular at many parties and dances etc in and around the London area.

My radio dj days started by accident. In the early 90's a friend brought me into Skyline

radio to cover a show, not thinking anything would become of it and I was offered a

regular slot right there. It was where I met my good friend the late DJ Village. We both

continued working together and in 1999 we both moved onto to present on Cruise FM

managed by DJ Village.

My selector/sound system career continued and went from strength to strength.

Myself, Migus and D Science were all members of GI Roadshow. This was the start of

my international/european career and was privileged to be able to play in the UK,

Austria and Germany.

I had the opportunity to travel to The Gambia in 2000 to join Starkey Banton. From

my successful first trip I was fortunate to travel to The Gambia three times that year

playing and performing at several venues.

Due to the tragic passing of my lifelong friend DJ Village I continued to run Cruise fm

with his brother Sean, General Lee and QP. Throughout time my career went from

strength to strength and I played at several venues in Spain, Sweden and America.

Throughout my career as a radio dj I have been blessed to work with several talented

dj's on different stations. Not only the ones I have mentioned but stations such as

Juice UK, Genesis Radio, Hot 96, and Unique Radio.

In 2003 the collaboration of myself, Chris Peckings and Milton Campbell known as the

Peckings Syndicate regularly playing at numerous events. Together we have become a

well known force to be reckoned with.

To date I have regular shows on numerous radio stations in and around London and

the surrounding counties. Playing all aspects of reggae with a touch of other genres.

My weekly reggae shows are known as Reggae Inna Yuh Jeggae.

Now anyone who knows Likkle Minty knows that I am a jack of all trades and a master

of many. In 2011 - 2013 I was the co host of the music corner for the lifestyle show on

Ben TV for SKY.

As well as my music I also have a passion for videography. I have been instrumental in

producing, filming and editing various projects, and music videos for several artists

such as Macka B, Nereus Joseph, Chyna Whyne,  Bongo Kanny, Sparkie Melody, Akabu,  just to name a few.

2016 Moved into Music Production,Producing  the Phobic Riddim feat Macka B, Starkey Banton, Sun I Tafari, in 2020 the Icy Mint Riddim feat Macka B, Starkey Banton, Kirk Diamond and more.

In 2021 Neither One of us Riddim feat Keri Ann with a Cover of Gladys Knight & the pips Classic hit song, and a Saxaphone version feat the late Ray Carless - Neither Sax of us.

In 2023 a rendition of an Esther Phillips Classic - I Hope you'll be Very Unhappy Without Me ,with a Reggae Version of this Party Anthem sung by A Starr.

I have had many important and influential people in my corner over the years, so

many and to many to mention. I wish to thank them, my supporters, my listeners and

my family for their continued support and guidance throughout the years.

Work/Produce/Mix/Master/Selector/Beat Maker/Collaborator     HI all I've been with the rave music since the start of it and feel blessed to be a part of the uprise of a lot of different genres of music witch I had a passion for going to the early Acid House free parties in fields squats abandon warehouses peoples house and Garages and then when it split into different beats like Jungle Tekno ,Jungle, House , Ambient,Trance , Dub ,Dub Reggae Ragga I decided to follow Jungle Tekno ,Jungle and then to follow Drum n bass going to the big raves from back then normally the same line ups Fabio, Grooverider ,Micky Finn ,Elis Dee ,Carl cox ,Jumping jack frost,Top Buzz,Ratpack,and normally you would here the same white label dropped about 10 times in different mixes through the night ,the after parties sometimes turned into 3 to 4 days of raving on a beach or abandon warehouse or derelict buildings or a squat and plus there were so many record Labels back then with some awesome classic tracks from back in the day like Reinforced records ,Shut up and dance records, Warp Records, Moving Shadow, suburban bass Records, Boogie Times, Production House, Xl Recordings, Network Records, Ibiza Records, Strictly Underground Records, Strictly Hardcore, Kickin Records, Lucky Spin Recordings, Dee Jay Recordings, Basement Records, Formation Records, Absolute @ Records, FFRR, Slammin Vinyl, Urban Shakedown, Jumping & Pumping, Rubeboy Records .....I could go on and on there were soooooo many and again I feel blessed to have been apart of that going to the records shops in different towns and cities going through the white labels and getting to know the branded labels and trying to work out the bpm of the wax ....so many good memories were had and i still have a love a passion for Jungle first and foremost and Drum n Bass ....and all music Thanks for Reading this maybe we could share some old school and new stories some time just hit me up in the messages....One Love Big Love to all old and new People in the Dance , Production, DJs ,Big Ups Massive Blessssssss
