This is a live recording (5h 30min) from July 2025 in Berlin at YAAM Club. This was a very special night as we were celebrating The Midnight Drifters 20th Anniversary. Live artists passing through, sharing the vibes and riding the riddim on the flipside between crucial reggae selections from the 60's to now. Strictly Vinyl!

The Euphrates carries the lovers through shadow and storm. The river flows like prophecy fulfilled, remembering all things, bearing them toward immortality. Its currents ripple with eternal song.

Their courage is honored. Aphrodite and Eros rise into the sky, immortalized as Pisces. Two fish, forever bound, shining as a constellation of love. Heaven rejoices in their flame, eternal in the stars.

Zeus rises to face Typhon in battle. Lightning clashes with fire, storm against storm. With Hermes’ aid, Zeus hurls Mount Etna and pins Typhon beneath its weight. The monster is banished back to Tartarus, his fury trapped under stone, though his whispers rumble in volcano and storm.

The story closes in triumph. Aphrodite and Eros, bound forever, rise as Pisces in the heavens. The stars shine with their love, their bond eternal, their names remembered beyond chaos and time.

Sound Quake – Reggae Sound System
Founded in 1994, Sound Quake from Detmold/Germany is a true veteran to the European Reggae Scene. Since more than 20 years Sound Quake is known for quality juggling and is traveling as an ambassador in the name of reggae. The sound played in clubs and on festivals all over Europe, the UK and Russia as well as in Jamaica.

Sharing stages and rocking crowds with all the heavyweights of sound system history like: Bass Odyssey, Stone Love, David Rodigan, Renaissance Disco, Massive B, Killamanjaro, LP Int., One Love Hi Powa and many more.

Between 1997-2008 Sound Quake was an authority and a top-notch contender on the battlegrounds of the European clash arena collecting a nice amount of trophies over the years. In 2008 the crew decided to not play clashes anymore, but Sound Quake’s dub box is still deep like an ocean and is bringing straight excitement to any dance in the morning hours. 

With 22 years of experience on international stages, Sound Quake is rocking any crowd spreading Caribbean vibes galore - expect some quality juggling and musical joyride of all the latest and greatest of reggae and dancehall music!
