"People Get Ready" is a 1965 single by the Impressions, and the title track from the People Get Ready album. The single is the group's best-known hit, reaching number three on the Billboard R&B chart and number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100. The gospel-influenced track was a Curtis Mayfield composition that displayed the growing sense of social and political awareness in his writing.
Various artists have covered the song, including Bob Marley and the Wailers in 1965 and 1977, the Chambers Brothers in 1968, Bob Dylan in 1975, and Rod Stewart and Jeff Beck in 1985. Australian group Human Nature had a minor hit in Australia with their version in 1997."              Wikipedia

Barrel of a Gun was first written and recorded about 18 months ago and like a few other songs here, it features my tortured (and sometimes autotuned) vocals.  It's a pretty upbeat songs with a few different musical influences (see if you can spot them).  I just sat down to bring the snare and kick further up in the mix, and messed around with a few other things to improve the sonic clarity. If You Leave Me Now is a ballad type number that again features my tortured/autotuned vocals. I first wrote and recorded this song about a year ago and just decided to remix the whole thing and introduce a new drum track that really feature the snare and kick.  I think it's a particularly catchy melody and I think I sing it somewhat effectively but I'll let y'all be the judge. His productions reflect influences from hard beats but also bouncy sounds and melodies, often with vocals.

Hi all, so from 2016 to 2024 I assembled and produced a large collection of covers of many of my favorite tunes as my own hobby (and many during COVID lock-downs!) and I have accumulated over 2,800,000 plays across the world which is awesome!

I am much more of a producer that a musician. These first 8 years of my music was mostly based on midi cover tracks often downloaded from the Internet but heavily reproduced and re-imagined variously on my two Yamaha keyboards (Clavinova and PSR 975), but also using PC midi editing & DAW software.

Towards the end of that period, I added some of my more original electronic music which I produced over the past two decades under the name of Funkleberry in order to consolidate my Soundcloud accounts. 

But in 2024 I got into AI music generation and I am now  a freelance sonwriter and AI music producer. It's been a fun journey!

Hi, I started out singing in the 60's. I played in several groups, made a few records. Never went fully pro just played youth clubs, pubs, and socials.

A songwriting/recording project initiated to focus on the writing talents of Robert Sterling as well as several very talented collaborators/singers.  Older, wiser and definitely better, Sterling and colleagues continue to pump out irresistibly catchy pop/rock/alternative tunes.

Tim Paul is a solo piano performer today but was a member of several bands in the 70s and 80s including "The Four of Us" and "Crossroads". Tim also performed as a Ballpark Organist for the Quad City Cubs and the Clinton Dodgers for several years. He is also checked off a bucket list item playing the Wrigley Field Organ post game in August of 2022 first of Chicago Cubs Organist John Benedeck. Now he is one of the Owners at PIano Trends Music Company with his wife Bobbi Paul and he serves as  Board President at Raue Center for the Arts. Tim hosts a daily Livestream on Facebook called Lifting Spirits through Music performing on his Baldwin Blue Grand piano live on Lifting Spirits, many times with special musical guests and guest hosts when Tim is off. check out the group page
