Here is a new Northern Soul track I’ve written with my Dad called ‘Take All Your Lovin’ And Run’ with fantastic Lulu-esque singer, Sarah Collins. Sarah and I met by chance at last year’s BBC ‘Make A Difference’ awards, where I was a judge and handed out an award, and Sarah had a halftime singing slot. She had a bit of fame last year, as she had overcome a brain tumour, and unbeknown to her, it was arranged that she would perform at the London Palladium on the Michael McKintyre Big Show on BBC TV with American singer, LeAnn Rimes! We’ve had early support from my pal Craig Charles on his BBC6 Afternoon and Funk & Soul shows and from a number of well-known DJ's -  hope you like it!

Rory is a multi award-winning Music Producer/DJ and Film Maker. His music career has seen him producing 8 critically acclaimed albums and numerous EP’s, Singles, Remixes and Collaborations with other artists worldwide on various worldwide labels. Rory covers many genres including House, Funk, HIp-Hop, Big Beat, Breaks, Chillout and many more. Some of his tracks have been used as background music on internal American Airlines and in stores like Macy’s. He has also produced tracks for Film, TV and Adverts including tracks for Disney, Sony BET TV, Fox TV, Costco, Audi Asia and the Tour De France Documentary and is constantly working on new syncs. He has DJ’ed throughout the country in clubs and at Major Festivals including Leeds Festival, he was the Opening Act at the 2014 Tour de France Fan Park performing to over 20,000 people and has DJ’d in Paris  for the Crea Sourire Charity for Sick Children.

In September 2018, Rory had a book published, ‘The Little Big Beat Book’ where he interviewed 120 major artists of the 1990s Dance Scene including Fatboy Slim and The Prodigy. The book reached No.1 in the Amazon Dance Music Book Charts. His second book The Beatles: Acting Naturally; Obscure, Rare, Unfinished and Abandoned film & TV Projects of the Fab Four’ has just been published in 2021 to rave reviews.

His film ‘Autism And Me’ is published worldwide on DVD together with a booklet he’s written explaining in easy to understand terms what it’s like living with Autism on a daily basis. Some of his awards are listed below and he has seen praise for his work from people like Paul McCartney, Stephen Fry, Craig Charles, Fatboy Slim, Michael Palin,  Jane Asher among others. He works constantly to promote understanding of Autism, going into schools and organisations where they show his film to do Q&A Sessions and gets messages from all over the world from grateful families. In fact, one American mother said she felt she knew her son for the first time having watched Rory’s film. 

He’s been on British and American TV, Radio and Press a number of times over the past few years, and has been called ‘Inspirational’ and a ‘trailblazer’.

Been playing guitar and bass since I was a kid.  Gradually transitioned to learning keyboard and drums as well.  Started writing my own songs when I was 15. Rory called by God into His service, graduated St. Cloud State University in the spring of 1994. That fall he attended Rhema Bible Training Center.

When Rory discovered the freedom of living his life by faith, he still was not experiencing the reality of this truth in all areas of his life.

While studying Psychology and Public Speaking at St. Cloud State University, Rory rededicated his life to the Lord Jesus, and became a member of Living Word Christian Center in Brooklyn Park MN.

During this time, Rory heard from the Lord that Luke 4:18 was his mission in this life. “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because He has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor, He has anointed me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives to set at liberty them that are bruised to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

Rory graduated St. Cloud State University in the spring of 1994 and attended Rhema Bible Training Center that fall.  

Throughout his time at Rhema Bible Training Center, along with the privilege of sitting under some of the best teachers and ministers of our time, Rory learned firsthand how Gods’ anointed Word heals and forms faith in your heart to live free in the Kingdom of God.

Upon graduating RBTC in June of 1996, under Gods direction, Rory moved to southern MN and launched the ministry of RSMI. 

From 1996 -2002 Rory was mentored by Pastors Dave and Kris Toyne of Agape Christian Family Church in Clear Lake IA.  Through a series of events that should have destroyed his life and his family, the revelation of Jesus healing the brokenhearted saved and transformed him. This empowered his passion to take this message to as many people as possible.

He continues to receive insight and revelation on how God, through Jesus Christ, heals hearts, and liberates His Children. The revelation of the heart, and how the heart operates, is central to living a victorious life of faith in Christ Jesus.

Rory is committed to ministering to your heart the Word of God.  To assist you in receiving your healing, to form faith,  and to live in freedom in every area of your life.

In 2001 Rory founded RORY SYNOGROUND PUBLICATIONS a publication company that produced a free publication called "FREEDOM"  that reached 10,000 homes a month.  This publication inspired hope and faith all over the world for several years. 

In 2002  he opened The Voice of Freedom Prayer & Healing Center in Austin MN. 

In 2006 Rory pioneered Freedom Christian Center in Austin MN.

In 2010 Rory began hosting a Believers Fellowship Group in Austin MN. In January of 2011 Rory started another Believers Fellowship Group in Albert Lea, MN, He added another In May of 2012 in Osage IA as well.  These Fellowship Groups focused in on ministering to the brokenhearted while providing a place for Christian Fellowship.

Currently Rory Pastors Freedom Christian Fellowship in Austin MN while conducting evangelistic meetings where the Lord leads.

Rory is evangelistic in nature with a prophetic and teaching anointing accompanying his ministry. Rory ministers a bold uncompromised Word from the Lord, and prays for the sick. Through this ministry thousands of people have prayed the prayer of salvation, and have experienced medically confirmed healings.
