French live Techno outfit Möd3rn debuts on Rekids’ Rekids Special Projects sibling label with the ‘Far South’ EP, with part one landing 28th March 2025. The group, whose current members include artists Electric Rescue, Kmyle and Moteka, drop ‘Tension’ first, bodied drums swinging down low while alien signals increase in intensity above. The artists follow up with title track ‘Far South’,  in which jagged rhythm melds with restless stab sequences before
shadowy dance cut ‘Melancolysea’ overlays transcendental melodies over a dark and snaking bassline for mind-melting trippage.
Founded in 2013 by Maxime Dangles, Traumer, and Skryptöm label boss Electric Rescue, Möd3rn has grown into a notable live hardware act with a long list of releases on their eponymous Möd3rn Records label. Though Maxime Dangles and Traumer have now moved on from the project, Mord and COD3 QR artist Kmyle and Skryptöm regular Moteka have both joined Electric Rescue since. Venezuela’s Confidential Recipe & Scottish artist Harvey McKay come back to Radio Slave’s techno-leaning RSPX offshoot with their first collaboration, the ‘Bad Man’ EP, arriving 18th July 2025. The release, drawing inspiration from the Chicagoan Dance Mania label, opens with the title track, a syncopated techno slammer driven by booming kicks, fizzing hi-hats, and up vocal chops. Fragmented samples and textured stabs inject raw energy, building tension before the drop hits hard.

Going second, ‘Move It’ is a relentless deep techno cut with rolling bass, sonar-like synth pulses, and jacked-up percussion, engineered for maximum effect on the dancefloor, already supported by Mark Broom, Tasha & Elisa Bee.

Scottish producer Harvey McKay, known for his dark, driving techno, joined the RSPX roster in 2024 with his ‘DV8’ EP, adding to a catalogue that includes Phantasy Sound, Bek Audio, and Cocoon, with his productions having won consistent support from notable artists such as Laurent Garnier, DJ Bone, Carista, and Luke Slater.
