Voici la première pièce "Introduction" de mon recueil pour piano Grand Bal, ici dans la transcription sur laquelle j'ai travaillé, pour orchestre !

Sur le même procédé que ma composition Folklore des landes, le recueil est composé sur la même histoire qu'un roman éponyme que j'écris en parallèle (le roman Grand bal sera pour 2025).

L'histoire : Le plus grand bal de la région est chamboulé quand un mystérieux personnage inconnu pénètre l’enceinte du palais à la veille de l'arrivée des invités. Sa présence amène la famille à faire des choix au milieu d'éléments de plus en plus perturbants pour la famille, le bal et bientôt pour tout le pays.

Dans cette introduction, sorte de bande-annonce du recueil, toutes ces mélodies sont abordées et survolées, comme une vision d'ensemble de toute l'histoire qui se déroulera.
Cette pièce comprend donc beaucoup des mélodies et thèmes des autres morceaux du recueil, les superposant méticuleusement.

The mission of the Grand Teton Music Festival (GTMF) is to engage, entertain, educate, and inspire our resident and seasonal communities through exhilarating musical experiences. GTMF fulfills its mission through 150 concerts, education activities and community events each year.

The main driver of GTMF’s impact is its annual summer festival held in Jackson Hole each July and August. The Festival Orchestra led by Music Director Sir Donald Runnicles is its heart and soul. This “super group” of more than 220 classical musicians from 75 major orchestras and 55 education institutions around the world performs eight weeks of symphonic and chamber music concerts in GTMF’s acclaimed Walk Festival Hall. 

Festival musicians also support GTMF’s community impact, widening access to music by participating in GTMF’s free education and community engagement programs. The Festival also welcomes some of the most sought-after soloists and visiting artists in classical music today.

During the summer, GTMF augments the Festival Orchestra’s concert and community programming with:

*Chamber Music Series featuring Festival musicians
*Performances by non-classical artists and ensembles
*Free community engagement programs presented by resident Education Curator Meaghan Heinrich

GTMF stays connected with people year-round through concerts in Jackson’s Center for the Arts, presentations of the Met Opera in HD, select digital programming, and free events for Jackson students.

MATTIA D'AMBROS 
is a composer, arranger, score writer, percussionist, and drummer, based in Tokyo. 
At present, aside from music writing, he is the diligent event organizer and drummer of the rock band “Hanato Chiruran”. He also occasionally plays for other artists’ sessions.
 
He takes interest in a variety of music genres, including, but not limited to: ambient, orchestral, world, Latin rhythms, rock, and soundtracks (documentary, TV commercial, cinema, corporate, etc.).  His unique styles and approaches, gathered from all his travels and experiences, bring individuality to each of his music creations.

Hi, I started out singing in the 60's. I played in several groups, made a few records. Never went fully pro just played youth clubs, pubs, and socials. 

I play a little guitar and piano just mainly chords and I write a few songs. I purchased a Tyros work station keyboard about 14 years ago and started recording many songs mainly covers. Hope you enjoy listening to some of them.
