We look back, we look forward, these terms we use for our vision of the future and past are linear in nature. This is the design of distraction. This song addresses the narrowed scope of view society has for its point of reference and suggests an alternate pathway which is up. Isn't that the direction we're supposed to be going? How can we get "up" when we have our vison set on every other direction but "up"?
