With 2023 firmly on its way, we’re handing it over to London-based artist Eoin DJ for an hour-long assembly of steamy club tunes. With his first EP in the pipeline, as well as a string of sick shows locked-in across Europe, he's one to keep an eye on this year. We linked up via the Internet to hear about Eoin’s recent move to London, his upcoming debut EP on Radiant Records and other things to come.

We are glad to be back for our fifth episode with none other than MNTY, a dear friend and one of Mexico City’s key players. We are blessed with 2 hours worth of ethereal breaks, balearic vibes and trippy feel-good electronics, not shy of a ravey sound palette. Slowly and steadily she conjures the atmosphere you wish to have at your next sunday morning afterhours...and all this beautifully mixed together!

The multidisciplinary artist excels in both sound and visual canvases, presenting us with a polished dexterity for selection and storytelling, a quality that has won her an important role in Mexico City’s underground club culture being a regular at Yu Yu, Discos Movimiento and EXT. 
The CDMX native is no stranger to the airwaves, appearing on some of our favorite radio stations and platforms, including NTS, The Lot Radio, Crack Magazine and Down2earth among others.

Sweaty warehouse energy curtails out of this one in abundance and would fit most welcome inside the eeriest chambers of Tresor. No-nonsense club energy is the key instinct of this one and NM expertly introduces some killa breaks into the second act of this twisted techno pumper to further intensify it’s robust exterior.'

Following their contribution to the 2022 International Women’s Day compilation, and a co-production credit on “Dreaming is Essential” by Byron Yeates, Eoin DJ drops their first release on Radiant Records, Total Body. The 4-track EP is replete with mind-bending, lustrous tracks waiting to be spun out to sweatbox dancefloors.

On the B side, “Ultra Soft” lifts off with a firm kick and a rolling 3-note bassline. Despite the title, the track hits harder than “Total Body” and sings with Eoin DJ signatures: swirling funnels of processed vocals, rich, ear-itching textures, stripped back percussion and rave-ready samples are sprinkled with 303s, to create a track that sits comfortably with both classic trance and techno and contemporary “Progressive” dance music.

A trance mix that I recorded in December of 2023 for the r/trance end-of-year competition. Said competition involved making a majority trance mix with tracks from the 2023 year. Codenamed "The ARP 2500 Mix" by @soccernamlak on the subreddit to keep anonymity. (Alias: DJ Low Lead) Enjoy!
