Jack Benny Comedy Skit   (recorded on June 2nd, 2024)

Actress Diane Viale-Pomes is Dr. Helen Payne, a German-American motivational author & speaker.  The chorus of Xcursion Media:
Anthony Pomes, Dawn Pollock Jones, Rob Kohlmann, Andy Rich,
and Jack West  (the entire acting cast for our June 2nd, 2024 recording session) at Dare Studios in Deer Park, New York.

    John Tabacco (musician, composer, lyricist, and singer) is the audio engineer/tech for all the audio productions on that day and for over 20 years.  Actor Anthony Pomes suggested that the chorus make the selfish affirmation personal to Dr. Helen Payne on the third "verse" of each 3-verse segment  (for example:  "...Self-righteousness serves HER character well..."  Thank you, Anthony.

    This audio play was written, produced, and directed by  Bradley Thunderbird Phoenix (Brad Firebird), president & founder of Xcursion Radio Theatre  (formerly called  Montage Radio Theatre).  "Selfish Affirmations" is a satirical teasing of the late Louise Hay (who I respect as a non-Christian motivational speaker although I am not into New Age or Mind science).

A tribute track to the late Stan Zemanek (known more affectionately to listeners as The Night-Time King) Many of Stan's funniest calls were on a Friday night when all the boys from local private schools would ring up, abuse the crap out of Stan and try and get replayed on the flashback segments the following week. Many teachers and parents were appalled including my own. Lyrics written by listener and proud first-rate heavy, metal moron, Josh King, 2024.
