HC captain ĀMAN is back with another mix, this time diving headfirst into the deep end of the infinity pool that is bass and breaks. 

"Ever since I started DJing, what I've enjoyed the most is immersing myself in new music and (re)discovering my love for finding new sounds. Electro, and breaks called to me pretty early on, but it wasn't until this summer that I truly began to understand and appreciate the complexity, power and purity of bass music. This mix is an attempt to combine all those sounds to create a moody atmosphere, with a touch of groove and drive."

With his usual favourites Aurora Halal, Sansibar, Kia, Tsepo, Christopher Ledger (among many others) at the forefront of his mind while recording this, ĀMAN also used music and mixes from new finds and favourites Monophonik, Kohra, and The Librarian as references and inspiration. Hyperbolic Chamber #12: Brooding Bass and Breaks with ĀMAN

On this very filthy episode, we welcome from Seattle, Raymond Zentaro Yamanaka, better known simply as Yamanaka. Carrying with him a vast knowledge of techno, Yamanaka is making waves in Seattle and was kind enough to record this one and half hour beauty for the show.

Yamanaka is a puppet master controlling you with invisible string. He is the fearless leader of your ship as it barrels through space at lightning speed, slowly releasing drops of serotonin and dopamine into your system. He weaves through every transition with such grace that you won't even know you're being lifted. Expect hypnotic, deep, consistent techno to be with you throughout.

This mix, while faster and harder than previous episodes, is still a very good listen even if you're in the mood for a relaxed cozy cuddle with your couch. Light a couple of candles, get those eyes closed and let Yamanaka be your shaman for the evening. 

With the intent to bring a darker, more hypnotic, techno-centric few episodes, I am more than pleased with the nature of this one and I hope you enjoy it too.

Sweden’s Erik Pettersson is better known as S​onic Union,​ a prolific progressive house and melodic techno producer and DJ. With a DJing and production career spanning over 20 years, his versatility, experience and sheer talent enables him to turn his hand from producing, remixing and mastering to DJing and label management.

With over 200 releases to his name to date on lauded labels such as Anjunadeep, Sudbeat, Replug, Somatic and Global Underground, he has seen continued support from world class DJs such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Guy J. He has also remixed and been remixed by high profile artists such as Quivver, Jim Rivers, Cid Inc and Jamie Stevens to name just a few.

Erik also owns and manages well­ established label L​owbit Records,​which celebrated its milestone 150th release on 29th September 2014. With a stellar roster of artists including Cid Inc, Roland Klinkenberg, deepfunk, Guy Mantzur, Luke Porter, Marcelo Vasami, Nikko.Z, Kobana, Khen, Chicola and many more, Lowbit is renowned for its consistent championing of top quality underground dance music, and its releases are regularly supported by world class DJs including Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Dave Seaman, Carl Cox, Above & Beyond and Nick Warren.

His technical prowess both behind the decks and the uniquely uplifting energy of his sets have to date seen him play in Europe, Japan, USA, Canada and India and hold residencies in his native Sweden and Canada.

.. Das Radiokombinat, zunächst in Dessau tätig, war ein freier Zusammenschluss von einigen Leuten, die anfingen, regelmäßig eine Radioshow, mit dem Namen „Ghosthour“, zu produzieren.
Bei der Findung des Namens (1996), meinte einer, dass es doch klar wäre, dass es „Radiokombinat“ heißen müsse.
Die „Ghosthour“, ab ca. 1999, reduzierte sich
von der einstündigen Sendung auf 30 Min. als „Ghostdriver“, und irgendwann gesellte sich Stanhope dazu, der nach einer Sendereihe mit fiktiven Mozarttagebüchern & frei ausgewählter Musik, regelmäßig die
„Musikschaukel“ einbrachte. (bis 2018)
Im Jahre 2011 verlegte das Radiokombinat den Wirkungsort von Dessau nach Berlin.
Von ca. 2013-15 stieß „Hop-Sing“ mit seinen „40 Köstlichkeiten“ dazu.
Ab 2015-2021 erweitert durch den „Budenzauber“ Mix, erstellt von „Dr. Dubhead“.
Seit 2016 stieg auch „Sir Frank“ mit „Nothing is real“ mit ein.
