Here is my particular tribute to Alek Stark's label from Madrid: Fundamental Records / Electro Records. 

The quality of his editions was so great, and so much volume of music, which he offered us so frequently, that we had gotten used to it. 103 minutes in two sections. Sometimes the electro that comes from outer space, ethereal and ambient; and others against the mechanical and industrial, even apocalyptic. 
The richness and strength of analog sound.

Joe has been been trying to craft the perfect transition between two records for the last 30 years,  one day he'll get there but until then,  welcome to the official home of Brutal Willis where we specialise in the exclusive currency of Global Electronic Soul. 

I managed Vinyl Frontier Records in Woking,  Surrey for the best part of a decade..... living, breathing,  loving and sharing repetitive beats.   I have been fortunate enough to grace the platters at lots of different clubs,  events and festivals up and down the country and Europe.  I co ran the legendary night "Shuffle" (which may come back one day).  I won the coveted "bedroom bedlam" mixtape award for Muzik magazine, residencies at the Cross, The Pool , Piranah's and 333 in London and was awarded the Percy Thrower Lifetime achievement award for services to the green plant.  I have played at Glastonbury, The Big Chill, Kimberley, Orchard amongst  many others and more recenly a regular fixture at the Give ! festival for House of Honey.   These day's I can be found deep in stock pots working culinary magic for all kinds of people,  however you may still catch me behind the platters (that matter) as much as I can.  I love music with a captivating groove, a glowing warmth,  sincerity and emotion however it comes and still relish the opportunity to share my sounds manually through the medium we know as Vinyl.  As long as it's available I will continue to support it,  everything about it just works and I believe it helps strengthen our beloved scene.

My musical journey has taken me through '80s synth-pop, Chicago house, acid house, electro, and techno—though I steer clear of the clippy-cloppy 'mnml' and business techno.

I dedicated years to being the quintessential 'Bedroom DJ,' complemented by frequent visits to the techno haven The Orbit and other iconic Leeds nights such as Superconductor, Darkside, and Detatched. My experience culminated in a DJ spot at Detatched in 2009, where I spun a primarily electro/italo-house set in the bar.

Following that, I secured a monthly residency playing techno in the main room while also showcasing electro, house, and electro-pop in the bar. Events like Future-Past and the brief stint with Secret Maze allowed me to support some of the finest names in the techno scene. I had the honor of warming up for artists like Claude Young, James Ruskin, Marcel Fengler, Shed, Peter van Hoesen, Joey Beltram, Octave One, Truss/MPIA3, Detroit Techno Militia, Forward Strategy Group, 65d Mavericks, Subjected, and Xhin, among others. Additionally, I've shared stages with a slew of other notable DJs and artists such as Hardfloor, CJ Bolland, Woody McBride, Alan Oldham, Rolando, Derrick May, DJ Bone, Reeko, Exium, Sandwell District, Grovskopa, Ancient Methods, Inigo Kennedy, Bas Mooy, Damon Wild, Takaaki Itoh, Go Hiyama, and Neil Landstrumm.
