BATHRUNE is a self-insert AU of Deltarune revolving around various Discord group chats I am or have been a part of. This AU hails from late 2020, back when Deltarune only had one chapter. A lot of this AU is still based on that old foundation, so don't expect everything to make perfect sense!!

Tale of Da Hoe Club is BATHRUNE's first chapter. Various members of Da Hoe Club, both past and present, make up this chapter's cast, in terms of both its Lightners and Darkners.

Creepa (https://soundcloud.com/creepa-bot-2nc), or rather “Creeps,” is the Ralsei replacement in Chapter 1 of this AU. Derrick and Millie lose whoever was shooting at them when they enter the kingdom proper. They're welcomed in by Creeps, who explains how they might be the key to solving the problems that are plaguing this land...

"Hometown's Defense" is a narrative re-imagining of Battle Against a True Hero, set at the climax of the "Weird" Route taken to its darkest conclusion.

The player's actions throughout the story have gone too far. Noelle is gone, passed as victim to your crimes. 

Kris, unwilling as ever, has been pushed past their breaking point, having foregone their plan with the Knight, and having forcibly ejected you from themselves for good this time. 

The Roaring Knight has had enough. And all of Hometown — every surviving friend, Susie, Ralsei, and every darkner who made it this far — has united against the one responsible.

YOU, who has dust and blood stained on your hands.
YOU disrupted the prophecy. Now it's fighting back.

The track weaves together Don't Forget, The Legend, Freedom, Castle Town, and Hometown itself around B.A.A.T.H's structure.

Follows the December Holiday is the Knight head-canon.

Everything happens up there... People live and they change...
Nothing stands still, and...
and you form new memories, new connections, new thoughts.

That is, until, the day ends, and everything stands still once more.
The world is blanketed by night, The world falls asleep.

And when YOU, fall asleep, that's when your mind begins to abstract the thoughts, the memories you have created.
When you wake up, when the world wakes up, it unpauses.

The "Dark World", was born when somebody, long ago asked;
"What if we could abstract these thoughts, whilst wide awake"
"What if we could, just for a moment, turn memory into matter."

Somebody loved the objects that form us "Darkners"
They thought of us as their friends, made memories and thoughts for us.
