This track is about a moment of despair. When you lose yourself and spiral into self-destruction. It is a song about the endless battle with your own reflection. A track about the breaking point, when all that’s left is to scream through the music.

The track is about loss, about pain, about tears. About how you put on your armor and begin your descent. How you go lower and lower, heading straight into the darkness, into the unknown, towards the abyss.

Pain

A track about a powerful ascent from the depths to the surface. The journey is harsh, pulling you back and forth between darkness and light. At times you’re dragged downward, at times you break through upward — yet you never stop moving. You rise higher and higher toward the light, no longer as your former self, but reborn — having embraced your darkness, having touched the bottom and met its dwellers.

This is a piece about surrender and transformation: falling unworthy, rising washed, and finding that the still small voice has been waiting all along. A hymn-like meditation, lyrical and cinematic, Shadow Shine invites the listener to step through the glass and answer the call.
