Kate Wolf and Medaya Ocher are joined by writer and publisher Danielle Dutton, author of Prairie, Dresses, Art, Other as well as Margaret the First and Sprawl. Dutton is also co-founder of the outstanding press Dorothy Project. Prairie, Dresses, Art, Other is a collection of stories and essays that exemplify Dutton’s approach to writing: ekphrastic, collaborative, laced with dread, wonder, and silence, as well as the power of landscapes (outer and inner) to transport both characters and readers beyond the normal bounds of being. Many of the stories in the book are set in the open plains of the Midwest—a space that becomes rife for projections of bodily harm and climate collapse, where the real world and the digital sphere frequently overlap.
Also, Jennifer Croft, author of The Extinction of Irena Rey, returns to recommend Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake.

Tiz but a demo. Currently, the ideas are flowing so I'm just getting the base ideas out there. It's still a complete song in a sense, but as with everything in life there is always room for improvement. As with most of my songs, it's just vocal and guitar with some added effects. I feel like I often get lost in the online world, and I forget to focus on the importance of real life. I'm pretty sure many people have this same exact issue. So I wanted to make a cool song about it. Strangely enough, it was mostly inspired by some AI songs I have heard, and just the simple lack of emotion, and how terrible it sounded to me. The thought, of a slow change where people no longer can tell the difference anymore and we're all just robots, essentially, just crossed my mind. Anyway, cool idea, pretty cool song, can improve, but I'll work on that... someday, haha. Later everyone!

TEC Abierto es una condición peculiar de la medicina en la que el cerebro es expuesto al entorno tras haberse vulnerado las capas meníngeas y óseas que lo protegen.  

Podría decirse que en ese estado de apertura artística se encontraron dos músicos (o digamos, un músico multinstrumentista que estudia composición y un músico frustrado dedicado a la caracterización matemática de eventos que relacionan la predisposición a la tolerancia (escepticismo) de la mente humana. Tobal Estay y Compulso (TEC) inician casualmente un recorrido por las músicas de todos sus años y las exploran de un modo simple, desprejuiciado y libre, como si vinieran de regreso de las complejidades a las que enfrentan o deben enfrentar en sus oficios de estudiante y docente. Se abren a su arte con una disposición tal, que les toma apenas una semana grabar un EP de 7 canciones que representan el deseo por demostrar que sus propios demonios como la procrastinación y la autopostergación pueden combatirse con las felicidad de hacer aquello con lo que se encuentran al final de todas sus exploraciones: música.  

Sin abandonar sus proyectos propios, TEC Abierto es probablemente la propuesta más rara y transparente con la que puede encontrarse uno en días irreflexivos de violencia, egoísmo y adoración por el consumismo materialista. 

Su primera obra "Estaré Aquí" será lanzada oficialmente en Abril de 2024, luego de ser grabada en los estudios de Cedip-Arte en el nodo lacustre de Chile entre el 23 y 29 de Febrero.

I work as a nurse in the state of Florida and I love being there for people in need. My other true passion is making music. I'm kind of an amateur but I look forward to getting better and making the best music I can.

Most the songs I do in about a day and then move on. I don't have the skill to make them radio quality yet, but I hope with collaborating with others and making my own music I will learn some skills along the way. I don't focus on perfection, I focus on emotion and try to put feeling into my music.

Also, I love to get lost in other peoples work, I will often play video games while listening to a bunch of someone else's works and commenting on the ones I like the most, not all though, don't wanna seem like a stalker, unless you like that of course.

Been feeling a little burnt out lately, so if I'm not responsive please don't take it personal. Having to work OT to keep the family afloat, so I haven't had time for music and when I do have any time I'm just too exhausted. I definitely want to make more it brings me a lot of joy to make music. At the same time it is very taxing, reaching into the depths can sometimes cause unwanted feelings to linger longer than they should. Anyway, I love all the support you have all sent my way.
