Welcome to Jericho Records USA.
This isn’t a traditional label — it’s the archive of a lifetime spent writing, recording, experimenting, breaking rules, and rebuilding myself through music.

The original Jericho Records was an independent label my father started in the 1950s. What you’re hearing here is something new — my continuation of that legacy, shaped by the times, the tools, and the life I’ve lived.

I grew up in a musical home. My father ran the church music ministry, my mother played piano, and I was singing before I could read. Drums at 5. Guitar at 7. Bass. Saxophone. Piano. Songwriting became the way I made sense of the world, and I’ve written close to a thousand songs — with thousands more to come. I later graduated from Full Sail University with a degree in Audio Production, blending old-school recording with modern technology.

You’ll notice the sounds here are diverse. That’s intentional.
I create under different artist names, different styles, different worlds — but the voice behind all of it is mine.

And to be fully transparent:

• Some tracks are traditional studio recordings — real drums, real guitars, real vocals, all performed by me.
• Some tracks blend live instruments, VSTs, and AI-assisted production.
• Some began as my raw guitar or vocal recording and were “covered” or re-interpreted through AI tools.
• Some are fully AI-generated compositions created from my prompts.
• But every song — no matter the method — was written by me and comes from real experiences, real chapters of my life.

AI, to me, is another instrument — another creative partner.
It doesn’t replace my voice or my story; it helps me bring more of it into the world.

Over the years I’ve worked with incredible people, including Dez Dickerson (Prince & The Revolution) and Tim Gaines (Stryper), and I’ve shared stages with bands like Drivin’ N’ Cryin, Corey Taylor, Saving Abel, Hinder, and Avenged Sevenfold. But the journey didn’t end there — it evolved.

Jericho Records USA is where all those chapters live at once:
the human hands, the digital experiments, the scars, the healing, the imagination, and the divine spark that keeps me creating.

Mi historia con la música empieza en el año 2000, cuando tenía 15 años y lo único que necesitaba para ser feliz era un plato, un vinilo, y unas ganas inmensas de hacer vibrar a los míos. No había redes, no había postureo, no había métricas ni algoritmos. Había noches, colegas, garajes, luces bajas y el bajo retumbando en el pecho. Así fue mi forma de entrar en la música: por amor puro y sin ataduras.

Estuve pinchando hasta 2004, siempre en fiestas privadas, en momentos únicos, sin más pretensión que compartir lo que sentía cada vez que una aguja tocaba el surco. Nunca lo hice por fama ni por dinero. Lo hacía porque el breakbeat me elegía cada vez que sonaba. Porque ahí, entre bombo y caja, me encontraba a mí mismo.

Pasaron los años. Llegó la vida adulta, el trabajo, la rutina. Guardé los vinilos, pero nunca apagué el fuego.

En 2020, en plena pandemia, con el mundo en pausa, volví a escuchar ese eco dentro. El cuerpo me pedía música. Me planteé volver a mezclar. Pero claro, el vinilo ya no era tan accesible. El coste, el espacio, los equipos... todo era distinto. Probé con controladoras eléctricas. Fácil, rápido, funcional. Pero algo no encajaba. Me faltaba alma. Me faltaba aguja. Me faltaba error. Me faltaba vinilo.

Y así, en 2023, decidí regresar. Pero no a medias. Me compré unos Pioneer DJ, recuperé mi colección antigua y empecé de nuevo como debe hacerse: desde abajo, con humildad, pero con hambre. Volví a patear mercadillos, a buscar joyas, a entrenar el oído y las manos. Volví a sentir el vértigo del beat cuando entra justo en el momento perfecto.

Sé que es más caro. Que es más difícil. Que el camino analógico es más lento.
Pero también sé que es más real. Y yo vengo de ahí. Yo soy eso.
Soy JUANSIRBETDJ.
Y si algo tengo claro, es que el breakbeat se lleva dentro… y se pincha con el alma.
