I lost my Mum in 2019, and one of the last things she said to me (in a voicemail) was that she had been told she could come home from hospital. I will never forget the joy in her voice when she said that. She came home and died, but I know it was where she needed to be. Not a day goes by when I don't think about my parents who have both moved on, so please, show your love, enjoy every minute and never forget.

What is there other than anything but polluted skies above us?

I have been creating music since my misspent youth. Every song has a story.

I started with sample based tracks via Dance eJay and Acid Music on my x486 PC, the output from which I would describe as interpretive.

My first writing from scratch started with the glorious Yamaha RM1x and subsequently the Yamaha RS7000. With limited responsibility and seemingly endless weekends, I found the creative spark.

I have diddled a bit with my Teenage Engineering OP-1, Novation Circuit and Korg Electribe 2 (see tracks for evidence), and I briefly touched the Native Instruments Maschine MK2 but I didn't have the PC power to run with that.

Once Akai announced the MPC Live, I was positively salivating and purchased on release.

It has always been about an all in one box solution for me, and now I am only limited by my own creativity and precious free time (thanks, kids).

I write things that I like to listen to, but commercial music this is not. I could see my music in a game, artsy video or fever dream.

At least, when it's all done, I can say that I made some nice noise, even if nobody else thinks so.

Born: April 9, 1980 — Nizhny Novgorod, Russia

DJ Denis Lop began his career in 1997 at Club “Spice” in Haifa, quickly becoming its resident from 1997–1998. His energetic style and unique musical taste led him to perform across numerous Israeli clubs throughout the late ’90s and early 2000s.

From 2001 to 2002, he served as a resident DJ at Club “Armageddon” (Karmiel), and from 2003 to 2004 — at Club “Spider” (Haifa).
Over the years, he played in many well-known venues, including:

Moving to Canada marked a new creative chapter, inspiring him to continue making music, crafting new remixes, and performing in local clubs with a renewed sound and a distinctly Canadian groove.

I'm a pastor, dad, husband, and child of God.  I'm broken, but  blessed. The cracks are where the Light shines through.

My mission is to help people grow closer to God with every breath and step I take. I gave my life to Christ at an early age and have grown closer through the years, spurred on by the study of the Bible, my church family, and the Chrysalis and Walk to Emmaus Communities. I accepted the call to full -time ministry as a pastor in 1999 and have served 4 different churches in Georgia. Music, preaching, and teaching are the heart of my ministry.

Outside of the pulpit, I enjoy many hobbies that help me blow off steam.  These include martial arts, woodworking, blacksmithing, gardening, cooking, and being creative.  I'm a jack of all trades and a master of none.  My philosophy is use what you have, do it yourself if you can, learn something in the process, and have lots of fun.  This channel is a place to share it all with you.
