Permafrost

a complete rework to the Beatles's magnificent For No One, which is a tune i can relate to, but i've always found its musical structure lacking the tragic quality that the lyrics conveys so i decided to give it my own spin

it's kind of completely different from the original with all harmonies altered and with added multiple modulations for a longing and dramatic feel

this one has a drum beat, i will also upload one without the drums

the idea is to use the absolutely ridiculous complex dissonant harmonies from the super ultra hyper mega meta lydian scale and jazz it up, but it has to be smoother than the original

I have always thought Sơn Tùng MTP has such a good voice, but his harmonic palettes are often very safe, as he is a pop artist afterall
