Desde joven, mostró interés por la música electrónica, lo que lo llevó a experimentar y desarrollar su propio estilo en la producción musical.

Im Alter von 12  Jahren begann ReLex sich für das produzieren von Musik zu interessieren, mit 15  Jahren brachte er sich selbst das Auflegen bei und kaufte sich die ersten Plattenspieler. Ab 2006 veröffentlicht Er seine DJ-Sets in verschieden Musikforen und hatte dabei schon immer eine schwäche für House Musik. Bekannt geworden ist er durch seine Mixserie "Voices in my Head", die bei zahlreichen Zuhörern positiven Anklang fand.
Genres wie Club-House, Jackin-House und Disco-House waren schon immer seine große Leidenschaft. Im laufe der Zeit traten auch Deep-House und Tech-House auf den Plan.
Nach dem er auf diversen Privatpartys auflegte, folgte im Sommer 2009 der erste große Auftritt im MLK Blankenburg, wo Er im laufe der Zeit auch Resident-DJ wurde. 
Danach folgten weitere Auftritte in Clubs, Discotheken, auf Festivals und in Radiosendungen im In-und-Ausland.
2010 entschloss sich ReLex seine Remixe und Edits auf Soundcloud hochzuladen, mit Erfolg, über die Jahre häuften sich über 1,3 Millionen Aufrufe und Zehntausende Downloads an. Der Edit von Yeal Naims "New Soul" und der Remix von "The Ghost Inside" von Broken Bells waren aus der Clubscene in Mitteldeutschland nicht mehr wegzudenken. Immer mehr DJs spielen seine Remixe in ihren eigenen DJ-Sets, in Clubs und auf Festivals.
