Pen|Reclu is an audio/video project by composer, sound designer, and multi-disciplinary artist Pen Anderson.

It is the outcome of a three-year program of music, recording, expression, and editing, a mixed-apprenticeship known as Pen's Continuing Education.

All imagery (illustration, photography, and design) accompanying these tracks are also produced by Pen, unless otherwise credited.

I create music using public and self-sourced samples, strings, percussion, and synthesizers.
I create photographs and video using lo-fi or convenient cameras, video sources, and compositing effects.
I create visual art from illustration to multimedia installations.
I write fiction.

I collaborate with plants, fungus, and animals.

diary is a container for my spontaneous and emotional electronic music. it is a mirror of my momentary mood and thoughts. I try to stay simple and pure, just recording my improvisations, using hardware devices like strega (make noise), neutron (behringer), arturia keystep pro, korg minilogue xd, preen fm2, roland p-6, behringer edge etc. The moment matters. Stay imperfect and fresh ! Enjoy!

Kraftkabel is the artist name of Philip I. Buckland. I am a musical scientist in a parallel universe living in a studio flat orbiting Jupiter. My keyboards are suspended in gravity nets, and my mixer is controlled by the power of the mind. My cosmic sequencing software masters through the power of emotion, and my keyboards are simultaneously both retro and new.
My music originates from the point of divergence of these universes - the mid-late 1980's, but is spliced by genre splicing interludes. I use a time machine and dimensional portal to get to work.

Main software: Ableton, Arturia Analog Pro, InSidious, random free stuff from the interweb and Dexed to program the DX7. Audacity. All played through Arturia Keylab and Keystep (which has a better arpreggiator).
Plus some guitars that I can't really play very well. And an mbira, tin whistle and an alien head-shaped ukulele.

These showcase an exceptional production skill and ability to create an immersive and infectious hypnotic like atmosphere. From the moment the tracks start you'll be transported to a world of rhythms and hypnotic pulsating melodies fragmenting into an irresistible groove. While the percussion is hard hitting and driving the deep and groovy baselines create an irresistible groove that will get you warm and fuzzy on the inside too.
