You were such a fighter Jamie, you gave it your all, however, the angels had to take you to a better place and now your free of pain.

Drum & Bass was your heartbeat – from deep rollers to the liquid vibes, you lived and breathed this music. The rave won’t be the same without you, but every time the bassline rolls, I’ll feel you there with me.

Your energy, your smile, your passion for the music – unforgettable. I’ll keep dancing for you, celebrating you in every tune, every drop, every sunrise set.

In 2019 it was the beginning of a new era in my life. My first encounter with Goa Gil was a blessing for me because thanks to his messages and having experienced his sounds I was able to realize what my goal is. Thanks to the meditation as I danced I was able to connect more and more with myself. From that moment on I wanted to dedicate this track with a style both to him and to me, mixing both stages of my life.

Realizing that music is powerful and sensitive to anyone who listens to it and connects with the frequencies at high volumes, managing to vibrate the interior and awakening the subconscious, a small part of an entire experience that I am still writing about.

Song Description – “Dancing With Angels”

“Dancing With Angels” is a deeply personal and heartbreaking piece that began as a meditation on one of the most profound moments in Scripture — Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. After the Last Supper, Christ prayed in anguish on the Mount of Olives, submitting to the Father’s will before Judas’ betrayal. That image of surrender, pain, and isolation was the original inspiration for this track.

But as the song evolved, its meaning transformed from the Biblical to the deeply personal. What began as a reflection on Jesus’ anguish became something far closer to home — the sad and true story of a young man, a troubled soul dear to our hearts, who tragically took his own life in 2005 in an attempt to escape his inner demons. The lyrics became his final farewell, a cry for forgiveness, freedom, and peace. The angels who guide him now are his late father, Ray, and his late grandfather, Len.

Originally recorded for my debut album Time Machine – Reflecting Shattered Dreams in 2014, this 2025 AI reimagining breathes new life into the song’s haunting orchestration and raw emotion. It now stands as both a lament and a tribute.

This version is dedicated to my dear cousin Kris: How can it be that 20 years have already passed since we last spoke? I’m sorry I couldn’t find the right words to heal you (save you). Rest in peace dear cousin Kris. See you on the other side. x

this song is so special to me. when my little cat "zack" died (the orange one in the cover) i got a hard depression, where the only escape was the music, and this song was one of that songs that saved me from hard things. the lyrics of this song and what it says remind me of him and the experiences we had with or without life.

I’m Dean R. Chandler — a London based songwriter, recording artist, and storyteller. My music is rooted in a lifelong search for meaning, weaving together themes of love, loss, faith, alien contact, and humanity’s future.

My upcoming double concept album Human Odyssey (set for release in January 2027) is the culmination of decades of writing and reflection. It’s a narrative journey that begins with a search for God and ends with an encounter with extraterrestrial intelligence — exploring not only what it means to be human, but also where we might be heading as a species. Musically, it draws inspiration from the epic storytelling of Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds, the synth-driven edge of Gary Numan, and the emotional depth of artists like Tori Amos and Chris de Burgh.

I previously released Time Machine – Reflecting Shattered Dreams (2014) and continue to revisit my archive of songs written across 35 years, reimagining them with today’s tools and sounds. Some pieces remain intimate and acoustic, while others expand into dark rock, industrial, or orchestral landscapes — but all are connected by a focus on emotional honesty and cinematic storytelling.

Beyond music, I’m fascinated by the intersection of creativity and technology. I’ve been experimenting with AI-driven composition and production to bring old demos to life and to spark entirely new works. For me, these tools are not replacements for human artistry but extensions of it — ways of unlocking stories and emotions that otherwise might have remained hidden.

At its heart, my work is about connection: to the past, to the future, and to the unseen mysteries of existence. Music, for me, isn’t just entertainment — it’s a chronicle of transformation, a conversation between spirit, science, and sound.

Being introduced to Drum and Bass/Jungle music in 1998 by her cousin Tracey, inspired K.I.M to listen to various radio stations (including pirate stations), such as: Soundz FM, Rude FM and Kool FM on a regular basis. At the end of the nineties when the darker side of the music began to evolve she was blown away with some of the music being released from producers such as Ed Rush & Optical, Goldie, Klute, Digital and Spirit to name a few.

K.I.M started to record radio sets, purchase jungle/drum and bass cassette tapes and rave tape packs, for her 15th birthday she was given Numark decks, that’s when she started to DJ Vinyl. Around 2001, she started going to events such as: Renegade Hardware, Movement @ Bar Rumba, Tech:nology, Intent 2 Supply, Essence of Chi and Middleskool, this gave her the inspiration to start progressing further.

In 2002 K.I.M volunteered to work for a record label called “Offkey Recordings” where she managed their accounts and in 2003 her record collection had grown nicely up to this point, she was then given the opportunity to have her own weekly Wednesday show on ukrumble and having alongside her MC Carnage.

In November 2004, K.I.M had to take a break due to the birth of her daughter, which this did not stop her from recording DJ sets, promoting, mixing and raving.
During this time and after submitting some demos, K.I.M then had some regular playouts and residencies at local D&B events around Kent and South London (Organised Noize, Social Experiment and Armageddon), from there she went on to play at other events such as Terraforms in Oxford which gave her the chance to promote her name further afield. K.I.M was then invited as a guest on internet radio stations such as: UKBass Radio & Manorizm.

In June 2019 K.I.M and her husband Catalyst.AD were asked for the first time to play at Middleskool Bar 512, London as a husband and wife combo, this then lead onto being asked to play at “From the Vaults” in August 2019, Deptford as a combo also, with this K.I.M & Catalyst.AD launched their record label Conjunction Recordings with their first release of the “Coming Home” EP. K.I.M and Catalyst.AD also provided a 1hr promo mix for this occasion.

Since the record label launch K.I.M has been approached for interviews from: DrumandBasics, Ravereport and In-Reach magazine.

In 2020, K.I.M continues to DJ, Market, advertise and manage her record label with her husband. K.I.M is now in the process of learning production
