Het einde van 2024. Dat vertaal ik efkes in een Vinyl-Mix'ke van 2uurtjes.

Maar eerst......
Wat een fantastisch muzikaal jaar heb ik erop zitten. Net als in 2023 stond ik op Retro*Nation in Hamont, met voor mij Roy en Yannick, en na mij Jimmy Goldschmidtz. Die avond werd knallend afgesloten door Ghost en Furax. Dik feest!!!

Enkele maanden voordien, begin mei, werd ik gebeld of ik zin had om een vinylset te spelen op de Dagdisco van Vrienden&Vinyl te Pelt. En/of dat ik daar zin in had! Vinyl blijft toch het gene waar ik het liefste mee draai! Miljaar! Wat een feest was me dat!!! Bij BarGanz in Pelt was het een dik feest op het terras.

Voor VinylMasters, de heren Devid en Emanuel, heb ik ook weer enkele sets gedraaid. De laatste was bij George and the Bear in Genk. Die zal ergens begin 2025 online komen. Ook dat was dik de moeite.

Verder nog enkele verjaardagsfeestjes gedraaid, waar ik me ook telkens enorm geamuseerd heb.

Aan allen die me ook in 2024 de kans gaven om te spelen, een welgemeende dank je wel.

"Detta Är Mitt Sätt" är en eurodance-låt som återkallar ljudbilden från 1990-talets svenska dance-scen med tydliga influenser från grupper som Ace of Base, E-Type och Army of Lovers. Låten följer det klassiska eurodance-formatet med kvinnliga sångverser och manliga rap-inslag.
Produktionen är byggd kring pulserande syntar, hårda trance-beats och klassiska 90-tals synthesizer-riff som tillsammans skapar den energiska dansatmosfär som definierade eran. De tekniska elementen som synth-stabs, breakbeat-övergångar och energiska build-ups följer noggrant 90-talsreceptet för dansgolvssuccé.
Låten följer en kvinnlig berättare som uttrycker sexuell längtan på ett mycket explicit sätt. Den upprepade hooken "Detta, detta är mitt sätt" blir låtens genomgående tema, kompletterad av manliga "Komma in, komma in"-inslag som skapar en tydlig sexuell dialog.
Strukturellt följer låten eurodance-traditionen med dess typiska uppbyggnad: intro, verser, hooks, synth-solon, och breakdowns som kulminerar i en energisk final. De olika elektroniska elementen skiftar och utvecklas genom låten för att behålla energin och behålla dansgolvets intresse.

Behind AZRANA stands a twin duo from Belgrade, Serbia.
Their aligned life experiences firmed their naturally given and nurtured creative energy.

Both are multi-media artists who fruited diverse projects throughout the years of channeling their exquisite taste in art. All of their art in textile manipulation, tattooing and graphic design is sourced and underlined with a lifelong obsession with music.

They switched from playing piano to singing, but have finally found their true passion and confidence many years later in DJing as they ignite powerful tunes from the decks.

With deep love and support for the local trance scene, they joined fellow friends of Global Sect in November 2023.

Chris Dixis was born in Ougrée in Liège on June 1, 1982. His first club performance was as "Dj Chris" at "Metropolis" in Harsin in 2003 for a Dj contest (he won).

He played in clubs like "Bunker", "Millenium", the "Groove", in several bars on the "square of Liège", at events such as the "jump'in valley". He played a lot in the north of France, with Hardtrance and Jumpstyle-mixes.

In 2012, he decided to change his artist name and to Chris Dixis, he also changed his musical style and created a Soundcloud-page where he shared retro sets. Fans asked for more, so he decided to do this regularly. ...

Thanks to the sharing of his sets, clubs like "Dance Hall", "Arenchi", '' Real '',"Lazzura", "Montini", "La Rocca Backstage", "Le Barocco", '' beachland Festival '' etc. started booking him and he became resident of the Club System Reunions.

Chris shared the turntables with great artists such as Phi-Phi, Ghost, Mackenzie, Dave Kane, Sven Lanvin, Philip, Franky Jones, Jan Vervloet, Youri, Bountyhunter and many others ...

He is well known for Retro House, Trance and Hard Trance but he's also into underground-styles like Progressive House, Techhouse,Melodic House And Techno
Chris Dixis prefers vinyl but is not afraid of modern media.

Chris is a father of 2 children. Chris is the diminutive of his first name Christophe and Dixis is dedicated to his two children DIego and AleXIS .
