The Black Light Disco Show is back on the My House Radio a la carte menu with another sonically stunning two hours for your listening pleasure! 

This week sees the return of the pan-Irish Sea duo of Esteban and Cole Kutz, who have concocted something very special for your entertainment for this month’s instalment. In a break from the higher-end BPM format, the chaps have put together a delicious slow-mo, beatdown groove, hip-hop-tinted cruiser; which will hopefully bring some summer warmth to those of you stuck in the miserably cold winter! Be warned - there are some parental advisory lyrics so be sure to keep young ears away from the speaker! 

First up is Esteban who has slow groove tracks and remixes from the likes of Raw-Artes, DiCE, Briak Leroî, Ice Cube, George Kelly and Alien Disco Sugar to name but a few.

The Canadian Jayli grew up surrounded by the music, touring with her composer father since she was two. During her career she has supported the likes of David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia. She’s renowned to produce her own exotic, trap tinged and tropical beats.

Ever since I was 12 I always had a passion for dance music especially house music, people around at the time who got me into it were the likes of the legendary Jeremy Healy, Alistair Whitehead, Danny Rampling, Graeme Park etc.... 
Ever since then I wanted to give dj'ing a go, 2 years later I got my first pair of turntables when I was 14 and taught myself to mix, which wasn't easy!! It pretty much started out as a hobby, playing to friends in my garage, doing private parties, small functions etc....

It has continued to be a hobby of mine up until I started doing internet radio in 2009 where I had listeners /Other DJ's from across the globe tuning in for my shows, they praised me on my tune selection and ability which gave me the confidence to take my hobby to the next level. Since then I have had the pleasure of playing in some of the top northeast venues such as the empire, the arena In boro and digital in Newcastle to name a few!

I would definitely consider myself a multi genre DJ having turned my hands to many genres over the years, as far as dance music is concerned you name it I've played it! From drum n bass, trance, dubstep, hard-core, UK garage, hard house, hardstyle, but my all-time favourite genre remains to be house music.

A few years ago i had alot going on in my life and my passion for music began to fade until I secured a spot at a new bar Out Out hartlepool which has become a popular venue in the area and eventually became a resident DJ. Now that i have parted ways with my residency you can catch me at various venues across the north east almost every weekend. Since then my passion for DJing has been reignited, 2024 has turned out to be a good year for me with loads of stuff still in the pipeline and I've recently been booked for a few local events for 2025! 💣💣💣

Our ethos is based around a very simple concept: GOOD MUSIC, GOOD TIMES with GOOD PEOPLE. We announced ourselves on a gorgeous sunny Saturday in June 2019 with an all day and night party in Liverpool’s thriving Baltic Triangle area. It was the start of something very special. 

We have a solid core group of musical talent residing in BLD Towers hailing from England, Scotland, Wales, Northen Ireland and Italy -  providing perfectly cooked grooves and juicy basslines. 

The BLD team comprises of Esteban, Goz (Spin City), Pookie Knights, Cole Kutz (Opentempo.fm) De Gama and Fingerman (Hot Digits) – clocking up decades of DJ’ing and dancefloor experience between us. As individuals, the BLD team have been producing consistently high quality sets over the last few years. Now, as a collective, the aim is to make Black Light Disco THE place to promote new music and to bring you the very best in established/up-and-coming artists and producers in the sunlit uplands of sonic pleasure. 

In January 2020, we launched a weekly show on THE biggest house music FM radio station in New York, MyHouseRadio.fm (also available digitally at www.myhouseradio.fm).  The Black Light Disco Show airs every Monday exclusive to MyHouse Radio between 7pm – 9pm GMT (2pm -4pm EST), bringing you the finest in disco, funk and boogie; all delivered by our expert in-house Sonic Consultants (resident DJs) with guest mixes from the hottest producers, DJs and artists out there right now.

Shane is no stranger to having good night. He first started clubbing 2003 going to legendary club nights Godskitchen when is was at code then changed to air and also was a dedicated gatecrasher cyberkid he attended republic then gatecrasher 1 religiously & went to the big shows at N.E.C Birmingham and to the Nottingham Ice arena shows. Also was a huge fan of the hard house brand tidy and still is to this day he,attended tidy events at the epic magna science venue and pontins for the legendary weekender, enjoyed festivals global gathering and creamfields & gatecrasher summer sound system from years gone by. Shane’s musical influence are above & beyond who he as followed from the beginning when he first seen them at gatecrasher Sheffield. Armin van buuren first seeing him do a nine hour set at code- godskitchen. Paul van dyk. & Tiesto playing legendary sets at cream amnesia & gatecrasher. 
Shane learnt the art of mixing vinyl on some belt drive numark decks then progressed over the years once he learnt the art of mixing/beat matching and to this day mixes passionately recording sets and mixing is set with a passion and flair with new trance & trance classics and a few of is own mash ups .A bedroom DJ with skill and a fire in is belly who will always be in love with trance music
