“Hard Neomelodic” is a new term introduced by artist and DJ Nziria, to describe a new space of hybridisation of apparent opposites, such as North and South, traditional and contemporary music, Hardcore and Neomelodico, masculine and feminine.
As a non-binary artist born and raised in Ravenna from a Neapolitan family, Nziria integrates the main forms and themes of the Neomelodic song, while regenerating the cis-heteronormative scenario. Through a powerful and androgynous singing, they reinterpret the stereotyped, almost archetypal stories of the Neomelodic genre, welcoming narratives of the LGBTQI+ community and singing of queer love and mercurial identities."

"The mix is hybrid space of free experimentation, from Jungle to Drum’n’Bass, Techno to Ambient, with a pinch of Hardcore and Neapolitan music."

After winning a DJ contest, Ravert earned the opportunity to play at renowned events such as Pleasure Island, Art of Dance: Rauw op je Dak, and iconic venues like Hemkade. He's also made his mark in the underground scene, performing at several illegal raves where raw, unfiltered energy is everything. These nights have helped shape his sound and deepen his connection to the core of the harder styles scene.
