This is a cover of a favorite Richard & Linda Thompson song. Unabashedly sad and surprisingly relevant. Singer has been teased and lied to for way too long, by her own country and by a callous young rake. She senses nothing will change. She sings of her wish to be a carefree butterfly, while contemplating vengeful misbehavior. Contemporary folk accompaniment featuring guitar work from recording artist, Zak Hobbs, who is Richard and Linda’s grandson. In a recent interview, Richard pointed to Zak as one of his two favorite guitar-players on the scene today.  Licensed through IDBLM.

All the effort and love that goes into making music and then left feeling like we are not good enough because we don't even get a reply from 99% of the hundreds of emails we send.
