Lifeboat, an original song by Unround. Recorded live to 2 track cassette in mid 1990's in private studio in The Music Building, Room 603, Jamaica, Queens, NYC. This is just the Bass Channel of the 2 tracks. The guitar channel would have been panned full-right. The bass, full left. There is still some drums and vocals, as they would have been panned up the middle. The bass I used is my custom Hamer Scarab 8-string and the amplifier is a Carvin 900 Watt stack. The reason I am posting this is so you can hear the tightness and complexity of my bass lines. I'm very proud of my work! The song is absolutely NUTS, both musically and lyrically. a short take on a familiar tune in the genre of Doom Metal. inspired by Chopin and Bach, I recorded this to demo my new fuzz pedal. That's me on Rickenbacker bass through a miked up Mesa Boogie amp, and drums. That's all there is on this one, and all I needed to make this one of my heaviest songs ever!
