De vierde aflevering van het vijfde seizoen van Cinepraatjes, de podcast van Cinemaatjes. Onze Halloween-aflevering, maar we mochten ook aanschuiven bij de mannen van de Villa Kakelbont podcast voor hun Halloween-aflevering. We waren in de vorige podcast helemaal vergeten dat we al 5 jaar een podcast hebben en het zelfs de 100ste aflevering. Drew Struzan, een bekende filmposter-ontwerper is overleden. Uiteraard is er weer een sonnet van Marino. William heeft ‘Monster The Ed Gein Story’ gekeken en keek naar aanleiding daarvan ‘Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer’ uit 1986. JP wil heel even kort de film ‘The Life of Chuck’ van Mike Flanagan, naar aanleiding van een boek van Stephen King, bespreken en keek ‘Scream 4’ nog eens terug. We trokken de DVD van ‘Darkstar’, de studentenfilm van John Carpenter en Dan O’Bannon uit de kast. In onze Special bespreken we Rob Zombie’s ‘Halloween’ uit 2007, waar we het niet helemaal over eens zijn en we beantwoorden natuurlijk ook weer vragen van luisteraars over o.a. memorabele films met regen, onze thuisbioscoop,  onze watchlist en iconische karakters van de laatste 20 jaar. Brandon Carter, also known as ORGOTH, is a new hard hitting up-and-coming Hard Techno producer from Chicago, Illinois. 

Brandon started off writing dubstep and house music, but gradually shifted towards Hard Techno over the years. 
Brandon’s soundscapes of music hits like a titan. His sound is forged in the fires of sci-fi and fantasy: from the pulse of cyberpunk cities to the clash of mythic worlds. Inspired by anime, epic films, and immersive video games, he builds tracks that feel like boss battles on the dance floor. Raw, Relentless, and Otherworldly.

As he rises through the ranks of electronic music, Brandon is determined to redefine Hard Techno with his unique blend of futuristic sounds and heavy kicks!

SINCERE IMPOSTER is curated by two musicians, both living within the same body, sharing a singular existence. They identify as Danielle & Dave. They are both psychologically and musically confused, yet extremely and unapologetically sincere.

Influences range from Weird Al and Nathan Fielder to David Lynch, Rosalia, Monatik, Atarashii Gakko!, Rammstein, T-Pain, and T-Swift. 

Danielle & Dave’s favorite inventions include the vacuum and the peach pitter. Their father is simply known as Vessel… who may be an entity or a god.
