We make Mystery Rock

High school mates Jess and Alec met Kech at university in the first year of Melbourne's lockdown. 

In the three years they lived together, Jess (Drummer),
Alec (Guitar) and Kech (Bass) wrote songs at their first shack in Fitzroy, on their bus (a 1984 Toyota Coaster) as well as an Old Sydney Ferry in Docklands. 

Jess' younger brother Hugo (Registered Weapon) later joined as
the newest ingredient in the Shack sauce.

Influenced by music from the 60s, 70s & 90s, MysteryShack created a new sound. 

How did they do it? 

During their 3 years living together which included
Melbourne's infamous lockdown, these 3 Australian-born songwriters collaborated to mix their combined vocals, dirty bass tones, mind-bending guitar riffs and ground-shaking drum beats to produce a sound the band refer to as “Mystery
Rock”.

On the horizon, the band has decided keep music as a side project as they pursue their true career aspiration of becoming the first astronauts to land on Jupiter.
