Digitakt and Syntakt together with the crunchy old JV-2080 (plus some exp.cards) in a chill beat. Basses: Syntakt + a Solid Bass patch on the JV. Drums and percs: the Syntakt on toms and Digitakt doing some chopped up drums. Ambient sounds: a little bit of everything, for example an incredible warm Soundtrack pad patch on the JV, and high strings from the Syntakt and other one shots and melodic hits sampled into the Digitakt for more effects and filters (JV not being too fast to program compared to modern gear). I happened to leave the Syntakt metronome on, mistake but not terribly bad either. JV and Digitakt mixed via a small 8 channel deck and then into Syntakt for that bad ass overdrive. Oh, and the TC Electronic M300 does some chorus on one of the JV dry outputs. That is about it. Enjoy!

Crunchy Beat

Ableton Live with a couple of va, analogs, fm, romplers and various hybrid synths via a MOTU 828 and of course vsts. Style includes all sorts of genres, I guess film and games is the theme. As long as it resonates in my head even if its sometimes only the gear talking. Anyway, thanks for listening.
